Installed an Airaid MXP intake. Half off due to a Labor Day sale, so why not?

The noise is intoxicating. I refuse to put an exhaust on this thing, as I've yet to hear one that sounds good. This intake sounds like I'd like the exhaust to sound. And no, my butt dyno is not registering a power bump, but I wasn't expecting one.

Damn... okay that does sound pretty good. Doubt there is much gain without a tune.

Got out and enjoyed some wet weather this weekend. Great time. Probably one of the last times I will wheel on the stock suspension, wheels, and tires.

powder coated roof rack rails, installed oem led fog lights, and changed blinkers to lasfit led (bright as hell).

fyi getting led/hid low beams to match the fogs its very hard if your going the route.

Moar power!

Picked up my 2016 Limited after the supercharger and intake install!

Dyno'ed 295hp and 303tq on an awd dynapack. Picked up 74hp and 69tq over the stock baseline.

I'll post before and after graphs in a separate thread once I figure how to make an image work, lol.

We've been on a mod bender in prep for a trip coming up. (One pic always gets rotated, thanks iphone)

• RSG slider install (angled, w/ kick out, powder coated - loving them)
• Rear diff breather relocated to behind the gas door (info courtesy of this forum).
• Worked out a sleep system for the back which includes window screens/shades for extra ventilation and a 3" memory foam mattress topper.
• Installed a momentary switch to the inside of the rear hatch for popping it from the inside while sleeping in the back (info courtesy of this forum).
• Playing with a NATO jerry can mount modified to fit the Frontrunner rack

Shock sensor for stock alarm

Over the weekend, I added a shock sensor to the stock alarm. It was a fairly easy four wires installation. If your stock alarm is enabled. This is a cheap DIY upgrade without spending a lot of money on an aftermarket alarm system. Also no additional remote. Just use your stock remote.

Could be your gas cap. My CEL and same dashlights came on a while ago and ODBC reader code indicated gas cap. Replaced gas cap and that cleared the lights.

what size topper fit? did you make a platform to offset the uneven transition between rear seats and carbon space?

Not today but over the weekend took advantage of the REI Labor Day sale and added the Thule XT Motion Large.
Great fit on the stock crossbars, I like how it sits lower, clears the shark fin and there is at least 3/4" maybe a tad more between the front bottom of the box and the roof.
Solid box and new clamping system and light years beyond my previous little Sidekick (but it did its job)
Have been at highway speeds and was much quieter than expected. Maybe a tad overkill for camping/wet hiking gear but like to keep the interior back seats as clear as possible, cargo area of course is starting to gather things.. (cooler, large toolbox, etc..)
Loving the look and design of it the more I stare at it.

Also added (awhile back) the KC HiLites 20" Led Bar (amber covers and their 4Runner brackets [Kit]) Super happy with it, nice extra "stadium" lighting for the back roads. Excellent quality product and easiest install ever.
