What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Replaced my blown OEM JBL dash speakers, sounds so much better now. Tweaking with the JBl system is possible boys! If you have questions or need help, shoot me a PM. Trimmed the plastic cover so that it didn't limit the travel of the sound since these are much larger & wider and the OEM cone didn't go around the entire speaker

This really peaks my interest as I have a 2011 Limited. Nothing I read made it seem like there were options for the JBL owners, but you just proved it can be done!

Over the past few days driving my new 2017 (previously had 2008), I have driven the rear wheel over curbs because it seems wider, figured out how to raise the seat up, because I felt like I wasn't seeing over the hood properly, and missed the pick up of my V8

Well, I will reply to yesterday and today. Yesterday I went to work and sat in amazing Savannah traffic since nobody or few know how to drive which caused a nice accident. So, I watch Youtube The Best of Chris Pratt on Parks and Recreation. Once the area was clear I headed to work and she was parked for a mint 10 hours while I delivered packages to people. Then drove home around 2230. Today, I will be taking her to the range and breaking in my 350 Legend that I built, and sight her in. Once that's done, I will check out my alignment of my Glock 45 with the new sights I put on it (they had to move just to the right a bit). Then top it off with some good ole german cuisine at a local restaurant.

I'm guessing your 350 is on the AR platform? I have a 450 Bushmaster that I really enjoy, it's amazingly accurate and recoil isn't bad at all. The 350 Legend is interesting, the ballistics are much like the good old 35 Remington which my very first rifle was chambered in.

eh - yesterday. Helped a lady stranded on the ice on a hill. I was - heading out to the store while simultaneously taking my daughter along so that she could get some seat-time feel for how a vehicle handles on snow and ice. We didn't get out of the neighborhood before I new we had to go back, get a shovel, (I had crampons) some sand, and help ... because the mini-van was smack in the middle of the road just hanging out 1/2 up the 400' hill.

I continue to be amazed at how much of a mountain goat the 4runner is!! (2016 Limited - diff locked on snow). We keep Michelin defenders on it, and the sipes on those tires are SO good. After I backed her mini-van down and got it up the hill and parked, I got in the 4runner - drove up to where she was on the hill, picked her up, and kept going. Now, yes, I was choosing my lines, but this vehicle is special.

I also think the inherent lack of low-end torque is part of the magic of the 4runner in slick conditions... I hate it the other 362 days of the year. . -hope you all are well.

Nice.. How dark did you go? Looks pretty dark from the photo. I was just there on Wed for my 3M Crystalline tint. I also had them apply Llumar PPF to my headlights. Those were a b*tch to apply.

12/20-12/22 - installed 3M PPF to bumper

01/02/2022 -added Cartrimhome TRD style skid plate

01/07 & 01/08/2022 -applied 3M PPF to my entire hood and fenders from bulk roll. Came out pretty good for a first timer. The side mirrors are still in the works. I tried applying 3M ventureshield few weeks ago only to have the fingers re-appear on the top corner edges. Completely removed them and re-applied with the 3M scotchgard pro yesterday so we'll see if I did it right. Overall I'm happy.

Now onto getting my bud built skids painted and installed (on my 4th gen though).

Found and fixed a leak in the airbags from my install a couple weeks ago. Just sitting in the garage they wouldn't loose a single pound of pressure, even if left for several days. But, after a 1/2 mile drive around the block I'd find both sides virtually empty. :dammit:

Seems I hadn't left quite enough slack which created some tension and a rather sharp curve in the lines just as they entered the valve stems. :doh: Just the slightest pressure on the lines and I could hear the dreaded, "sssssss".

A quick relocation of the valve stems and all is right with the world again...

50% on the windshield, 15 on the front doors an 5 on the rest G5's work is pretty much on point.
