removed the useless tissue holder on the centre console arm rest. now I can actually store items between my console safe and arm rest.

...So, when I bought my 2018...the 1st thing I did was replace my Lo-beams.
..I had watched a terrific step-by-step how-to video by the good folks of Wanderlust-Overland...( if ya ain't familiar with their stuff, this husband and wife team have dozens of very informative, detailed, and funny videos spanning a vast array of mods..Check them out! )...:thumb3:
...They did a video on installing HID-Kit-Pros headlights, so I bought a pair and followed the vid..and was quite happy with the results, altho...they require ballasts and a dedicated wiring harness...and cost $200.00....so not cheap!
... But, only 7 months later, a massive kamikaze mule deer totaled my new truck!...:hurt:
The headlights survived..so I transferred them into my 2019...
...The only reason I tell ya all this is to show the difference between these bulbs and the AUXITO bulbs I just replaced them with, in the attached photos later...This is so ya don't think I'm comparing the AUXITO bulbs with the OEM bulbs...
...The bulbs I got are the Hi and Lo beams bulbs:

...As you can see, each pair costs less than $63-bucks...so a fraction of the cost of the other brand. Plus, they are dead simple to install. The brochure claims it only takes 10 minutes to install, and that is the truth...Well, it would have been, except I had to uninstall the other brand first, and that required removing the shroud, and removing the battery, and accessing the ballasts screwed into the inner walls on both sides, removing the wiring harness, etc..It's a completely different system....so it took a couple of hours!...:doh:
...By contrast, installing the AUXITO bulbs was as simple as twisting out the old bulb from the socket, unplugging it, plugging in the new bulbs, and twisting them back into their sockets. Simple-Easy!...
...The passenger side wiring had been slightly damaged in the 2018 crash, so I had used electrical and gaffer tape to repair the torn insulation, and that bulb was failing...so I replaced that side first with the new AUXITO bulbs to see the difference...
...Below is a series of comparison photos:
1) the Lo-beams against my white garage-door...AUXITO on the right...
2) the Hi-beams against my white garage-door...AUXITO on the right...Please note, OEM on the left...
3) Low-beams on rural road....AUXITO on the right...
4) Hi-beams on rural road....AUXITO on the right...OEM on the left...
...*I then went back and replaced the left side with the AUXITO Hi and Lo beams...so here are the same comparison photos:

Unlike the other brand that had to warm up before being fully lit, the AUXITO bulbs are instant on. Annd, as soon as I took those photos and turned around to head home...a couple of deer popped out onto the road, way ahead and I was able to see them quite clearly!...Woo-Hoo!...
...Also, I have had only one car in about 50 flash me, as they have an advanced cutoff which slants lower on the left....:thumb3:
*( Please understand, I am not knocking the other brand, they survived a horrendous crash that totaled my truck, and still gave me 3 more years of good service! Having said that, they were a royal pain to install..and remove..and they were not cheap...)...
** Full-Disclosure:...I was contacted by the nice folks at AUXITO asking if I would like to review some of their products....and the timing was perfect as I was looking to purchase new bulb sets. Having said that, I made it clear that I would be fair and honest with my review, even if it meant being negative...I am too honest and would NOT intentionally mislead anyone...I don't play those games!...( I really didn't even have to disclose the above...but felt in all fairness I must )...

What a coincidence!
Today I returned a pair of AUXITO 9005 LEDs.
Their light was good; bright and white. The DRL’s were brighter and whiter too.
The problem was that they fit very loosely. They didn’t even click onto place when rotated in. And once in place, the fit was so sloppy and I envisioned them vibrating about.
Their support suggested trying a rubber-band around it!
I sent them back & will look for a better product.
Today I returned a pair of AUXITO 9005 LEDs.

haha not sure if your post is serious or busting my chops for my extremely simple hardly worthwhile posting about mod
I installed the lockerdown console safe this summer. it's great but not all the time do I want or need to have things locked in it. I noticed there was some space between the top of the safe and top of the armrest. the useless tissue holder takes up a good amount of that space so I easily removed it. pull up and out from the bottom and it easily comes out. now I can put smaller items on top of the safe and have the armrest close fully. a small flashlight, chargers, etc. will fit there quite easily and you can keep the safe locked and still access these less valuable/more frequently needed items
FYI if you get the lockerdown safe with electronic keypad you need to remove the tissue holder anyways

Took a trip
Drove the 4Runner about 625 miles from NY to my son's house in NC. I'm looking to very possibly move here soon. One of the reasons for the move is to get away from the cold, snowy NY winters. Well if this is any indication, not so much lol!
