What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Are you re-gearing to run those? I'm probably going 255/70 for my next set to avoid the regear.

I think I will, eventually. Even with 33s, I felt like I lived mostly in 4th gear, but she never felt slow. Now she feels slow and 5th gear is useless on all but flat highway (which there isn't much of in the PNW).

My mom flew into town to visit her favorite grandson, so we took a trip to the beach. In true PNW coast fashion, it was 65 F, breezy and overcast - enough that everyone needed to bundle up to stay warm after splashing in the water!

Put N Fabs on my 2019 MGM Nightshade.
When ya step on them, they feel pretty good. Body moves almost immediately.
Garnd kids and other vertically challenged family members will appreciate, I hope.

Well, ground clearance is pretty good, even with lean and OEM irears system.
Drivers side, center of step 8.5", passenger side front 9"
Drivers side passenger 9", passenger side back 9.5.
Engineered perfectly...lol

Back up over 100 on the "dry" side!

Waiting for my wife in the store, I read and typed a long string of texts with the sales kid from the dealership where I bought my ‘18 SR5. Out of the blue, after the years have gone by, he reached out to me, basically wanting to sell me tires, service and maybe a new vehicle. After telling him that I replaced my OEM tires with BFG All Terrain T/As shortly after I bought the truck, and had it serviced at a local, family run lube shop, I didn’t hear from him again.

Front KDSS billet clamps, sway bar adapters, and a fuse box cover that lets you put a cover over fuse taps. Nice gear from DR KDSS. I have the clamps and the cover, and plan to add a DR KDSS control switch in a few months.

Maybe...but he ain't as cool as Dr. Detroit

Got the majority of my build done:

- Icon Stage 2 suspension (2.5 IFP Ext Travel shocks up front and 2.0 rears)
- Icon Billet UCA's
- Timbren bumpstops
- 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3/W's
- 22 OEM LED headlights w/ the FBC conversion harness
- Baja Designs Squadron Sport Wide Cornering amber fogs

Just waiting on some Westcott Designs sliders. The rig rode nicely with the OEM Bilstein-TRD Pro suspension, but the Icons are definitely a cut above, giving me some lift and improving the ride quality. Perfect for my use as a DD, occasionally going out to the dunes, blasting down forestry service roads, and taking it up to the mountains in the winter.

Dood, I been eyeballing your fairlead. Did you have to modify your winch line?

Nice build btw

Just picked up my first 4runner. A 19 TRD PRO. Would anyone know if my heated seats are leather or Toyota softex? Dealership is clueless.

got a new tablet that utilizes my drawers. Pretty slick.

- Installed Scangauge 3 (loving it so far, still learning about all the info it provides)
- 5K oil change, rotate tires and grease zerks (then a pre fall pre winter check of the underside and woolwax applications)

Two questions came up:

1. I bought a new oil drain plug (not needed but going on 5 years thought it was a good (easy, cheap) thing to replace, I noticed new plug is much shorter than factory original. Less magnetic area? I do see the part number replaces the longer, original one)

2. Woolwax has done an amazing job at keeping rust at bay.
The only spot I noticed any corrosion was this flange on the Cat Converter. Should I hit this with a wire brush? Then high temp paint? Is there a high temp Rust Reformer? Or just leave it, everything else looks great.
