their are, one of them is friend i grew up with sense before i can remember.... it was his life dream from as far back as i can remember

^^^ looks really good with those wheels! What is the backspacing on those?

4.0 inches. So they are an inch wider than stock wheels, and set out about 1/2 inch on both sides. I'm happy with the look. Also the tires are 265s, not 285s, so no rubbing. But I'll eventually be getting 285s and modifying my fenders.

Insulated the alarm/remote start wires that were in the engine bay.

Also installed LED gauge lights. I am pretty sure there will be hotspots, but I hope not! (Cant really tell yet since its still day time)

ANNDDD Put a little electrical tape on the ends of the cargo cover to hold it in place better I love the little things

Got some 16x8 Pro Comp Xtreme 6089 Wheels put on.

Still waiting on my black locking gorilla lugs, and I'm going to plastidip my hub caps that came chrome.

They are sitting on 265/75R16 Falken Wild Peak A/T right now. I'd like to pick up some used 285s that have a more aggressive tread, but we'll see how the flow is going in the next month or so.

Next ... tundra disc conversion and service rear brakes, and remove and paint rear bumper satin black.

I am sorry to read about this. I was riding shotgun in a chevy cavelier that was hit-n-run back in 2007, pretty messed up but luckily no-one was hurt.

I really hope you get another 4Runner, your posts are very good IMO.

Ya I'm fine, just a bit stiff. Just got back from the walk-in clinic, waste of 4 hours.

I took a closer look, the front axle looks to be shifted a couple inches to one side, and the rear axle tube looks to be cracked/bent, the side that got hit actually looks better than the other side due to the rollover.

DAMN! That is a freaking bummer right there. Sorry to hear about that Ian, and glad to hear you were not injured.

With all the vultures around here, I'm suprised people are not foaming at the mouth for that turbo diesel. Maybe you'll swap it into your new rig?

What did you do to your 3rd gen today

1996 Limited

Installed fog lights < modding brackets was a pain.
Re-painted windshield wiper arms oem black.
Adjusted front bumper , grill & molding under headlight due to very minor collision that took place over 10 years ago.
All looks pretty now
