here's mine, i chopped the original feet up front and used the plasma to cut up new ones. i still havent secured 100%. will be doing that later today. as far as how the hi-lift is mounted . . . weld a blot on, and get a nut and washer to secure with. pretty straight forward.

oh, and the coozie w/ zip-ties is so my dog wont get hurt on the T-handle that was welded to the bolt to secure the front of the hi-lift

cool but how come you didnt mount it higher so you still can use your back seat?

Nice job.. Everytime I see the 1st gen roll bars in our rigs I can't help but think of Dirtco's roll bar set up. If I didn't carry my dog everywhere Thats how I would set mine up.

how did you fix the steering rattle?^^ Mine does it whenever i go off road and it's freaking annoying!

My steering was sloppy and when off road just like you the steering coloum would rattle over bumps and what not. This fixed the sloppy steering. This weekend will tell me if the rattle has been fix as I'm heading to Crown King.

I followed the directions on page 2 of the post. Also put a 3/32 roll pin though it instead of a weld.

Over torqued Throttle Body Bolts?? Noob question

I cleaned my Throttle Body and MAF, decided not to go with the trd "O" ring mod.
When reassembling the whole thing I (stupidly) was talking to and ex-girlfriend on the phone... make a long story short I Way over torqued the throttle body bolts and was wondering if this is a big issue?
Do I need to go buy another gasket and do it all over?
I havent started the engine yet, I just assembled it and its sitting in the driveway.

Bought a small mass of parts and oils..... forgot the ATF and I guess I need another quart of gear oil (though it took 1.5). parts bought from Toyota, AutoZone, and Bass Pro Shop..... yes I said Bass Pro Shop lol (4in screw in Deckplate) got to get a free day to throw it all in.

Okay. Sorry to disappoint, but there were just a few things of junk in the box and some bits garbage. An inner tube to an Apache tail landing gear wheel.

There was some heft to it. Honestly, I had help getting it my 'runner in at work.

Installed a Bike Rack in the back of the 4runner

I decided to modify an old bike rack I had on the back of my truck. It fits great!

Pulled the throttle body and cleaned it up. I replaced the stock gasket with the "O" gasket from LCE. I then drove my 4runner to the river and hoped on my buddies boat and had some fun.

I just finished replacing the inline on the rotary girder. Took me 2 days! Solenoid went bad so I went to AutoZone and snagged a flux capacitor. Busy, busy!

Today I put the canoe on the 4Runner for the first time, took my son out for his first paddle (wife is pregnant, I assume it's a son lol), and welcomed in Summer in the true north!

(not sure why it made the picture rotate that way- sorry)

For the paddlers- It's a 17 foot pathfinder. I'm shocked how well it fit on the T4R and I'm only using foam blocks and 2 straps until I get my Yakima Q-towers in the mail here.

The T4R is a great paddling rig!
