Installed a new K&N air filter last week. Yesterday, I changed out the plugs (NGK 4302 Platinum), wires, cleaned the MAF, and adjusted the tires' pressure (using new Joe's Racing tire gauge).

Just returned from a long road trip and got an amazing 21 MPG on my 2002 4Runner, 2WD. Best it has been in a looooong time.

Need to wash all the dead bugs off tomorrow.

wish i got over 20mpg. mine only gets 12-14. it sucks

Got hit and run on my way home last night, car came out of a back alley on my right and slammed into the driver side door, spun me around and rolled the truck once. Car drove around me and continued on, nearly driving over its front bumper in the process. Truck is totaled, I'm OK.

Ya I'm fine, just a bit stiff. Just got back from the walk-in clinic, waste of 4 hours.

I took a closer look, the front axle looks to be shifted a couple inches to one side, and the rear axle tube looks to be cracked/bent, the side that got hit actually looks better than the other side due to the rollover.

Witness wasn't able to get it, and the gas stations don't have video of the alley or road, I was over there 1st thing this morning to have a better look at the scene.

It shouldn't be hard to spot the car that hit you. I would imagine it's damage would be extensive.

That rear axle is messed up pretty good.

Complete roll, landed back on the wheels. The battery ground pulled out of the crimped fitting, so I had no power after, had to jam the cable back in the fitting, and limped it home (only about 10 blocks). Insurance is closed today, I'll call them tomorrow. "Full coverage', but we'll find out what that means soon enough. I'm guessing I won't get what I need to put me back in the position I was in prior to the loss.

Damn, glad to hear you're ok though. I ended up doing the diff breather mod and it is so much easier than I expected. The hardest part was getting the tire out of the way....

Don't be so negative yet. I totaled a Focus into a guard rail once and got $1200 more than what I paid for it. I don't know the prices up there and what not.

Can still be happy the ******* didn't kill you, until tomorrow when insurance raw dogs you.
