Failed CA smog due to readiness monitors not complete, even after 1 week & 175 miles of driving! :redbrick: The readiness monitor requirements are finicky little shits.

Get a basic ODB2 code scanner. After you reset the ECM or clear codes you'll see the test indicators flashing she they wait for results. Once they are all solid and lit you're good to go, assuming no codes were thrown.Failed CA smog due to readiness monitors not complete, even after 1 week & 175 miles of driving! :redbrick: The readiness monitor requirements are finicky little shits.

175 miles is a lot. Mine are usually all in after about 120 miles.

I have a parts store CanOBD2 scanner, it was $30 IIRC.I have a Bluetooth OBD2 and Engine Link App for iPhone, and unfortunately it doesn't display these monitors. I was aware of the monitors but figured
a week of daily driving 35 miles round trip city & highway mixed would be sufficient, but I was unpleasantly surprised today!

You should be fine, but if you're concerned, clean the MAF properly and replace the filter.Gave her a bath and seafoam'd it. Feels a little more responsive, but that could be placebo. Used the seafoam spray and put a can in a quarter tank.
I noticed that some of the spray dripped down the wrong way and into the airbox. The bottom corner of the air filter is pretty wet, I wonder if that would damage the filter... or maybe if the fumes might damage the MAF. Any opinions?
I need to do this!
Got a part number?
