Installed my Denso radiator this morning
Decided to replace my coolant but didn't have enough on hand. Skipped new hoses for now; I'll do those when I do the coolant.
How y'all fee about Zertec?

Where in OH?
Just called my local dealer, Toyota Red after discount is $30 a gal out the door.Zerex Asian formula is the next best thing to Toyota red, don't be afraid to use it. I used it on my last fluid change when I was replacing my OEM thermostat. Don't skimp on thermostat, sensors, and LBJ's -only OEM for those. Pretty much everything else has a quality aftermarket alternative.
There's a Walmart up the street from my office. I can check at lunch today. You can get Zerex from Walmart for $12. Usually more convenient because you're already there for something else vs an extra trip to the dealer.

Zerex Asian 50/50 is $16 plus tax
Seems a wash since I'd dilute the Red 50% with distilled water. Amirite?

Cool, thanks!
Got a pic?
What color and what paint is that?
I love those color combinations you are rocking! Have you swapped out the rear body mound for Sonoran Steel body mounts? Most people running 4X Innovations rear swing out swap them out to eliminate rear flex with that swing out.
Rear 4Runner Polyurethane Body Mounts (Pair) - $75.00 : Sonoran Steel, Sonoran Steel Custom Metal Fabrication L.L.C. Custom Toyota Truck Parts
Looking sharp!

Checked rad before driving to lunch. Coolant level is about 1/8" above the fins, overflow is at the hot level, and there was this dried leak on the top tank.
Loose cap? Replace?![]()

LolCap is a cheap test/check. How many miles?
I can tell you my cap doesn't look like yours, haha.
Lol
Its the cap that came with my timing belt kit. Used to seal fine on my previous rad, it was on there for less than a year.
I'd have to lookup the mileage. I'm at 239,157 rn, so probably around 40K miles ago.
