Well after 3500 miles, I swapped out the Eibach coils for the slightly beefier Toytec lift coils. This allows me to run the same lift (~3") without having to set preload and my added weight Addicted Offroad bumper. Again, using the jack method and having done this 3 times now in the last 4 weeks, its a pretty quick job. Got it done in under 2 hours.
Ride quality is much better with the Toytec coils and no preload. The Eibach's felt good as well without preload and I think any spring will feel much stiffer and more harsh by adding preload so I wouldn't recommend that if you dont need it.
The oil leak is back but thankfully its not the VCs and its just a front main seal that seems to be the culprit. I'm almost over due for another TB change so in around ~15k or so at 250k miles, I'll probably do the 2nd TB change on this car and we'll see if I can truly have an oil leak free vehicle for a bit.
