What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Gonna go buy plugs( BKR5EKB-11) for it today so I can do the plugs/wires (TE-66).

So i'll quote myself and say that even though I said I was going to do the plugs and wires back on the 12th, I got caught up on something else and didn't do them until this morning.. Plugs looked a little nasty and weird enough all six were Denso instead of 3 and 3. Oh well, now they are all NGKs.

PS: Plug/wire #6 was a PITA!!! :ybrick::ybrick::ybrick:

On Sunday, I installed new rear sway bar end links. And discovered that a dropped 17mm combination wrench will fit nicely between the fuel tank and the fuel tank skid plate! So, had to loosen said skid plate and fish out wrench. LOL

After that, I re-installed the front skid plate, which I had taken off previously for some unknown reason. It's a good feeling that my new Koyo has a bit more protection now.

A 99 intake tube...? Your maf won't fit that... Or did you upgrade that as well?

No it fit on there like it came from the factory with that intake.

The MagCloride was eating the paint off my front bumper so I needed to give it a coat of paint. If I was going to paint it, I first needed to do a little welding. Something that has been in the works since I added the hoop.

SO, we got about 8" of snow here in "The Dirty D" as I like to call it. Dupont, for you simpletons.

I went on a little trip around town looking for some snow to mess around in. I found some! And I also found a truck driver who went to sleep last night, and woke up buried in snow! Needless to say, I had to help him out.

My rear bumper found me!

I was out to eat last weekend, and after I returned to my rig there was a note that read, " I have this kick ass wrap around bumper, call me if interested ".

So I called the next day, and it was a Savage rear bumper that he had for sale! I have been on the fence on which rear bumper to go with, but since this one was at such a great price, and was good to go I had to pull the trigger. Funny thing is, is that I was contemplating a Savage off-road bumper. Maybe I'm the first to run a plate bumper up front and a tube style in the rear?

What do you all think?

I just saw a BMW with the purple lights last night. It looked horrible and wasn't putting out very much light. Just doesn't make sense to me, but to each their own.

I have been watching this board for some time now. Almost 3 years I guess. After reading up and reading through countless threads about t4rs, I bought one for myself today.

So that's what I did today to my 3rd gen, I bought this one.

I know the running boards are coming off this weekend. I also have a few things to touch up, but for the most part, it's in pretty good condition. I will do a tranny cooler next and then some different tires. This thing has never seen the dirt as far as I can tell. 1998 Limited 4x4 with e-locker and 157k.

I may even start a build thread depending on how crazy I want to go with this thing. Thanks for helping me catch the bug folks:cheers:
