Changed oil & filter, cleared check engine light again see post earlier. Light came back on its the dreaded P0174. I have replaced the gas cap and cleaned the MAF, also replaced bank 2 sensor 1 (Drivers side upper) 16,000 miles and 1 year ago and it is back so I emailed Denso about my other sensor that only lasted 2000 miles and 5 months and I will send it to them and try to get the other one in exchange, I hope.

Recently put new wheels and tires on my FJ which left me with the factory OEM FJ wheels mounted with a set of 265/70-17 Duratracs. Went down to discount tire today and had the TPMS sensors added and had them mounted. I do have a slight rub on the front mud flap when turned hard over which I am not concerned by. Outside of that I really like how it turned out.

I bled the brakes. I wanted to do a full flush but I couldn't tell the best way to ensure a complete fluid change. Anyway, the pedal is much firmer now.

I also flushed the power fluid. I had a big scare as I was draining from the return line, the reservoir went empty. It was very fast and I couldn't tell the level in the reservoir because the old burnt fluid had stained it. After filling it up and several test drives I got the proper level and no more groan. The fluid was brown, foamy and smelled horrible. I'm sure it was the original fluid. I want to thank my mechanic for addressing or even mentioning it when I had it in many times over the past few years. /s

FYI, the steering seems a bit firmer! Also, the 2 bits of plastic that make the PS reservoir? $200 list. Owch - I used the old one.

Pulled the popup 620 miles today from Phoenix to Balmorhea State Park in Texas. :lookout: Took over 12 hours. Was tired of driving but was not tired of our 4runner. Holy Shizzle is Texas Big! No wonder the speed limit is 80 out here! Onward to Corpus Christie tomorrow. Another 530 miles! Kid and wife are troupers. Will be camping on the beach tomorrow night!!!arty:

Just got back from a 5 day bird hunting trip. The 4Runner performed beyond expectations. Got to do some nice trail crawling in northern ME. What a great vehicle!!

I would not have been able to do half the things I did without the lift, very happy with the truck!!

I'll post up more pics when I upload the rest from my camera.

got the bolt out i sheared off the other day. now i can use my front hitch and not ask my self if i can trust it one bolt short

a bit of paint and a new bolt and its back to normal

Like the original post, today I had my first experience with Plasti-Dip. I think it came out great, I had been hesitant since there weren't too many pictures of it on a black truck, but I think it looks great.

Watch out for bird ka ka..eats the plastidip 10x faster than paint, looks great tho..always like the matte finished:thumb3:

What did you use to clean the headlights? They look brand new!!
