It feels like it's been forever - I've been working nights at one of my jobs for a while now. There's been a few changes since I last posted.
Here's a before shot:
I am off for the weekend and finally got a chance to thoroughly wash it today so here's a few updated pictures:
At the beginning of the winter I installed the Daystar 2.5/1.5, then the '10-'13 SR5 wheels. We had one heck of a winter here in Maryland this year, and I had a blast!
I have the X-REAS and my rear shocks are bad. Not sure if I am going to install the FJ suspension that I have sitting in the shop or go another route.
For now I'll be working on the OBA system and possibly Plasti-dipping some things this weekend. Maybe I should think about starting a build thread here soon. :thumb:

Hauled a lot more than that. Surprising how well these trucks work when you don't treat them like trash, but to each their own.....:wink2: It just needs a good cleaning. Thanks for your concern though.....

Steering wheel volume controls started crapping out. Toyota wants $140 for a new switch so i decided to take the old switch out and see what was going on. One of the issues was that the silicone part of the button had little tears in it, causing it not to make full contact. I used some Super Glue to fix the tear and cleaned all the contacts. Put it all back together and it seems to be working fine now.....:thumb3:

Tightened up the parking brake cable, now have full function brake after more than a year of nearly none. It's great.
Also replaced the rear hatch switch, had the usual gooey rubber issue all of a sudden one day last fall. Man was that thing a ***** in the cold weather this winter, coupe time we couldn't get the for open.
Lets hear it for Spring mods !

Even with stiffer coils and new springs was still dragging my butt a little with this load. I haven't been able to see over the spoiler while standing next to,it since it was stock.
Testing out my new parking to see if I fit, then I get to lay pavers. Moving is not all its cracked up to be.

I would love too. I lined up a few of those hpde races after I graduate college this year. Gonna get some 20x9.5 wheels on some nt05's for those events. Should be some fun.
The NT-05's are great. I run them on my HDPE car on lite weight forged wheels. They are predictable when I am teaching lines and pretty solid overall. Just make sure you cool them properly! I still run R compound when running with the PCA or ACNA group 1 guys.
