oil change, m1-209 filter and m1 5w-30 extended performance, not too black at 9k so far, it drain smooth with no sludge. i think im going to try 10k at most and not at 15k.

Finally finished my factory sub replacement. Went with a JL 8W3. That being said, it was difficult to make it fit, but after it's all said and done, it's sounding good. I used Ark's Sub Switch as my inspiration. Obviously, it's easy to see how I'm enjoying the new cargo space. (Used to have 2 10's in a box taking up so much room in the back)

Looks like you had to use a spacer, I didn't have to with my 8w3v2, weird

Yea, I actually did have to use a spacer ring. It was about an inch to get it to clear the back of the enclosure. And yes, I did trim the back of the enclosure. See... My only thing is that it sounds ok. Not great. I am afraid that the sub is just too much for the volume the stock box provides and it is just being choked for air. That being said, it does seem to be pushing a little bit of air out of the sides of the spacer ring, sub, and enclosure, but I didn't think that would be enought to really cause a problem. Again, the sub is a JL 8W3v3-4 so if anyone feels so inclined to weigh in with a professional opinion, I'd love to entertain some ideas. I am happy with the way the install came out astetically, just wanted some more thump. (Using a MRP-M450 to power the sub if that helps)

put some polyfill in the box, it will change the sound to a deeper note.

What did I do with my 4Runner today?
I got annoyed that my front diff is leaking. So much for any plans that I had for Saturday, now I will be elbow deep in taking that axle out!! Luckily I have the seal b/c I keep an spare CV as a backup!
Who knows how long it has been leaking, those budbuilts collect a lot of fluid. Not to mention that it is on the passenger side, about the same place the condensation from the AC drips! So it could very well have been leaking for a while now.
