What did you do with your 4runner today?

I'm gonna go turbo eventually. More than likely after I graduate college (less then a year from now) Or whenever I get a good paying job rather then a college paying one. As far as the invest goes I have no idea, I dont keep count. I just save up then spend.

I'd love to turbo or supercharge my truck. Problem is price, and when would I honestly use a supercharger while crawling rocks or on the highway? Plus any sort of warranty is out the window.

You also have a daily driver. I would think every extra HP would make every extra on-road mile better. Warranty? 4th Gen Owners who have those are disappearing by the day and mile.

For me? Of course I'd love the extra HP. However I don't tow and think that the truck is pretty well powered as-is (2004 pre-vvt V8) even here in CO. I'm tearing up the left lane when I go skiing as is. Besides that, I live in a town where the city, county, and state po-po are based. Tearing a$$ around here will usually get you a ticket.

Depends on how the extra HP is used. If I'm WOT all the time, I'll be living in my truck because gas will be too much.

LOL. I'm fortunate that I'm only driving ~700 mi/month, and I can afford my heavy right foot (15-18mpg). I understand it's not for everyone.

I'm 18 years old and I drive like an old person. I get 21+ with a K&N intake and a magnaflow muffler. I feel more power and love the noise. I drive aggressively when someone pisses me off, if I'm off road, or if some douche comes up to a light like he's the sh*t (lots of those around here) and I smoke them off the line. No one expects that from our trucks haha

gearing is not a problem for me. I can hit 140mph+ in 4th.

But while doing so, I broke one of the center caps on my wheels. They pop off very easily so tomorrow I'm going to have them attached permanently so that doesn't happen again :sobbing:

When i had my Enkei wheels i lost a couple of the center caps. They would just loosen up over time. I ended up just putting a bead of silicone around them and never had another problem.

Yeah, I'm gonna do something, because I constantly worry that they've fallen off. Check them every time I get out of the truck to make sure they're still there.

i just trimmed my front mud gaurds inner part to clear the tire rub. hopefully no more rub at hard left turns.
