What did you do with your 4runner today?

I was interested in how it was getting at the driver side upper link with it tucked up next to the gas tank. Passenger should be easy.

I used a box end wrench on the nut next to the gas tank. Then tapped the wrench with a hammer until the nut broke loose. Then I used a ratcheting box end wrench to take it the rest of the way off.

What are the link skids sold as ? listed for FJ ? Apparently the Lotus design will not fit our Runners. I could not find those listed for the 4Runner on the All Pro site.

So I have never really done anything by myself and since I bought my 2006 sport v8 a month ago, I put a bull bar on, hid conversion, 1.5" wheel spacers, wrangler authority tires, and painted the front grill and wheels flat back... And did the night shade stuff on the tail lights... It's like crack! And this is at Oak Mountain State Park in Alabama...

I only took it for a 3 mile drive. It handles tight turns well and definitely doesn't roll more. I need LR UCA's for sure.

Taking it for an alignment tomorrow morning. I had to lift it in a pinch because my new 33"s were rubbing like crazy with the Bilsteins set at .85

so FJ springs and Bilsteins at 2.5? Thats what i've been planning on doing. With UCAs of course. Looks good.

Yep I have Bilsteins at 2.5" and the FJ coils. Then in the rear I have the FJ springs and a 1.5" daystar spacer. I want OME 895's now lol

I've been debating those as well, but i dont know if i can handle the rougher ride with the OME's.

Get 255/80's and the sidewall flex will deal with the rougher ride issue lol. I want those or toytec springs for the rear. I'm keeping the front as it is for now. I need heavier springs to hold my steel bumper up when I get it in about 6 months or more

Yup! Dunkin Donuts toasted bagel with cream cheese. It's conveniently on the way, and I have a book of 10 free large coffees that I have to use. Otherwise, I would prefer a real NJ bagel shop by far.

Hey man, don't hate on dunks! I love that place with a passion. Sure their food is lacking in quality.... But their bagels are freakin awesome. The only bagels that compare in the Boston area are Panera bagels

Not a ton of new snow to test the mods, but so far I'm liking how it's working. Hopefully we'll get a few more major dumps of powder this season.
