who knows. I actually forgot i ordered them. Its been over a month now. I'm not expecting them anytime soon. I've asked to cancel since they hadn't been started yet after a month and i was told i'd have them soon.

Yeah he seems to be overworked and extremely back-ordered. He didn't let me cancel, said he would have them to me by the end of the month and apologized a bunch. Good guy, but i just don't like having to pry for an update on something i paid in full for a month ago. I'm not complaining either just know he's extremely behind on even black Friday sales. At this pace i will be shocked to see them by August.

Change the oil and filter with mobil one extended performance , also use a bigger filter for years (m1-209). Lubed up the driveshafts with lucas oil red and tacky grease.

Didn't do it today but last weekend I got new tires(265/70/17 rugged terrains) and then dipped the emblems, bumper pieces and wheels gunmetal grey.
LOOKS SICK in person. It feels good to actually turn some heads driving now!
And yes. My stance looks off but it's only cuz I'm not on flat ground. Sits perfectly even normally

Took the wrong exit on 495 and was waiting to merge. There was a huge open spot so I figured the girl in front of me had gone. I was looking over my shoulder and it was sill clear and I just bumped into her (took my foot off my brake and just rolled forward). No damage other than a little dent that I could see on her vehicle. Gave her my info and we went on our way.

Well my first accident at 45mph did that, but this one was just my foot off the brake rolling forward waiting to merge. I was looking over my shoulder to see if it was clear.
Also due to my 1.25" BL, I don't have the bolts in the bottom of my bumper, so it has a lot of give

My dad's 87 4runner was sagging in the rear, so I decided to give the "zuk" mod a shot using the stock 4th gen coils I had laying around. Not a perfect fit nor the best solution, but it was free, got rid of the saggy rear end (gained ~4" lift), and actually rides a lot better. I'm probably going to get some 1.5" ball joint spacers for the front to level it out.

I usually get about $200, not including the grille or emblem if you want one.
It's ~$100 in materials and $100 labor. I also have a write up somewhere if you want to try and do it yourself.
$100 sounds like a lot for labor but it's very tedious to make it look good.
I could do it for a lot less if you could deal w the gaps not being fiberglassed and bondo'ed and don't want it color matched. Maybe $120 or less total.
Only for '06-09s grilles though, 03-05 is a lot more work and I still haven't taken on a second one. Then I have a line of about 4-6 people waiting on me to get around to it.
If I don't here something from [MENTION=90286]Justinishere[/MENTION] soon that finished shadow mica is about to go up for sale.

My driver's seat has been rocking for a few years now. The Stealership wanted around $800 for a new seat frame, so i have just been putting up with it. After a few people had written up about the same issue and what they had done, i decided to give it a shot. I went to a buddy's house and took my driver's seat out. At first we couldn't find anything that looked broken. Once we took the seat rails off, we found the crack the other members have had.
He isn't the best welder, but he did a good enough job to fix the issue. It is a night and day difference in the feel of the seat. Thanks for the info guys....:first:
Glad the pics were helpful! I still have to fix mine, going to see if a friend has time to weld it up for me so I can get the inspection finished finally.
On another note, I successfully replaced my driver's side CV axle yesterday, and then got rained out when I started the passenger side. It's supposed to be raining here through Wednesday and I'm supposed to take the 4Runner back in by the end of the week to have the CVs and seat rechecked since they failed.
So today I started rigging up a temporary tarp shelter so that I can work on the CV in the rain tonight or tomorrow. Never in a million years would I have guessed it would be such a hassle getting the 4Runner to pass MD inspection. :wow:
