Walmart is the place to go to buy oil for sure! I don't understand why people pay an extra $1-$2 a quart at an auto parts store for the same oil...

Well slap me silly, I'll just blame Neil for not meeting up with me Saturday and could have told me this.

If you seen the Walmart in my neck of the woods, you probably pay the extra to avoid the place.
And if I was living in the high rent district like Neil was, no problem then.

Haha...You must be referring to the Florin store out there? The new one in EG is a bit better since it's tucked away in the newer 'burbs, but the EG Blvd/99 one is just as bad as most of them. Since that one's 24 hrs, it gets all the ghetto from everywhere! Scary esp after midnight! Had to run there one time when I needed a tool for working on the Audi.

Im in Vacaville but im always in/out of Sacramento area because of work. Im sure we will meet up before too long. Its gotta be the 285s, if i remember right our fender heights were almost identical.
Took it to its natural habitat....according to all my friends.

Honestly, the florin one doesn't scare me at all, it's just the rat race of it, I have lived in much worst areas growing up in my younger years that whites wouldn't think about roaming around in.

Replaced OE Bridgestone Duelers with a set of brand spankin' new Michelin LTX M/S2 tires. Went to Costco to use $70 off coupon, but their computer system was down and they wouldn't use their feet to see if they had any in stock. Went another 1/2 mile down the road to Discount Tire. They had 4 in stock at a shade less than Costco, plus they honored my $70 Costco coupon by taking the discount off the total price instead of making me mail in a rebate request that results in a Visa debit card.
I hate those damn rebate/Visa debit cards. They expire after a year and, in my house at least, have a habit of getting forgotten. Eric at Discount Tire agreed, so he just gave me the discount right on the spot. Also, I prefer going to DT instead of Costco for free tire rotations. Nice waiting area with coffee, cushy chairs and decent car magazines. Kudos to Discount Tire.

runs great. I engaged the diff lock earlier today. Worked good like its supposed to. Still getting 13mpg though. Even with driving gingerly. Ive stopped calculating, saves blood pressure.

i've done everything i know of to make it better besides aftermarket intake and exhaust. I dont get it, guess ill just live with it. Fairly disappointed with it as my last vehicle (which i sold after buying this) was on 36x15.5s and had a 4.7 v8, was also lifted ten inches and got 18mpg. Somewhat regret it.

My drop that I did was just due to them tires, 18mpg was even with the lift.
Try cleaning MAF, doing the sea foam, plugs, running gear fluids.
Maybe even go back to the stink bug look again. :hiding:
