What did you do with your 4runner today?

its gotta be like Christmas at your place this week!

My desk is already completely full. And I got 305/65 I didn't want to risk the 305/70 and have them not fit at all. My Coilovers and shocks were delayed until Wednesday unfortunately but I'm hoping we can get everything installed on Thursday or Friday and do a little wheeling at a local ORV park on Saturday or Sunday.

I got about 12.5, which was what I expected. The U haul was jam packed. I was able to keep it at about 70mph the whole way. Even through the Smokey Mountains. Not too bad.

In the backyard grilling burgers and hot dogs by the pool with the gf, just went out front to admire my truck with some mud on the tires from a little wheeling yesterday, and was happy to see my 4Runner wanted to run over my gfs neon.

Detailed it last night only to have fireworks rain down on it leaving black marks everywhere but they wipe off. Today I finally got around to replacing the O2 Sensor , bank1 sensor 2, Used OEM denso $47 from Rockauto.com. Sprayed it down good with PB blaster 2 weeks ago and made sure to replace it when the exhaust is still hot (helps a lot) Had a hammer to tap the wrench...came out pretty easy. Changed the oil with 5.5 qts. Mobile1 synthetic 10-30 wt. Changed Rear Diff fluid w. 2.9 qts Mobil1 synthetic 75-90wt. Replaced the spark plugs with denso OEM. The gap on the original plugs were 2 times larger then the new ones. Wondering if they are the original plugs. Added the maintenance info to the toyota owners website. Every car company should have this available to their owners.

I've had a random misfire upon start up for a while now on cylinder 4. I swapped coil packs 2 and 4 last week and today it did it again. Still #4. Hoping it was a failing plug. If it does it again, i'll swap injectors. Unless it's a nightmare job. Then I'll just replace it.

at 182,055 miles my '04 limited impresses me every day i drive it.

Found a little trail on the way to watch the Lake Tahoe fireworks yesterday. (The most amazing fireworks show I've yet seen, BTW! My pic does not do it justice.) Came across a big fallen tree & got to break in both my BAMF sliders coming in & going back out.

Had to get the 4runner towed the other night. Engine started making a nasty knocking sound and started leaking oil and overheating.
I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with it but I think i may be looking at a blown gasket. Its off to the shop tomorrow to see what is actually wrong with it.

Finally fixed the burned out AC Control Panel lights during the install of my new to me head unit. Also finished up the interior LED swap. I forgot to change out the map lights the other night for some reason. Looked a little weird when I hit the light.

I installed Bilstiens front and rear, front set at 1.75". Installed new front pads and calipers. Now I just need some larger tires and an alignment.

i kind of agree, i love those rims as far as going with aftermarket. one of my favorite style rims.

as far as stock i think that the 4th gen 18's done right look good and also the 3rd limited 5 spoke rims in black/black gloss look amazing
