What did you do with your 4runner today?

I really wish I took advantage of painting my new calipers when I did my brake job. Now they are already rust colored.....:tsk:

This is one of the main reasons I went with the NAPA ones, they cost a bit more than what Autozone wanted, but come with a nice thick coat of paint.

replaced my 13wg calipers to the bigger 13wh sports calipers, also bought the bigger 13.3'' rotors...........just pushed the backing plate back...and so far so good!.

have a little play on my front passenger tire...techie says its the steering knuckle/inner tie rod.......was thinking tws the ball joint!...will see when he opens her up

Why did you go with that over the X5500BHS? I was debating both of those. The extra $150 for the X8500 isn't a killer, but it's still cash that I'd rather not spend unless there was something compelling.

took apart my inner/outer tie rods to take a look at this power steering leak last night, thought i sealed it up good enough, put everything back together, and had it leak on me this morning on my way to school.
its always something lately.

From what I can tell just looking over each real quick I think its the compatibility with android. I originally wanted a kenwood but kenwood isn't compatible with my phone, so I went with pioneer. I was refered to crutchfield and got the HU for $549.99 took 3 days to get it!! Found the adapter so tomorrow I will be hard at work

Went to nearby Toyota dealer and picked up a 27f True Start eighty four month battery for ninety nine bucks!

OEM Panasonic lasted for seven years and even though the vehicle started OK...

The sight glass was totally clear and I wanted a strong battery for the upcoming Colorado winter.
