did the map light mod yesterday but didnt like how if you turned on one map light all the lights came on so thismorning i added 2 small diodes on the back of each map light now each maplight is seperate but if you open the door or turn on the dome they all come on

The noise that I couldn't figure out what it was has been fixed! Apparently I knocked a heat should loose and it was kitting the caliper

the diodes are number 1n4148 and they are inside the green and red shrink tube soldered inline with the wire to the ground side of the bulb socket. also be sure to put the cathode side away frome the map light because its ground controlled its backward from normal

Installed my RCI Skids. Aluminum front & transfer case, steel rear since Josh doesn't offer aluminum rear plate. Aluminum plates are about half the weight of the steel, for me it will be plenty of protection.

Went down a trail today. After going in some small puddles I had some noise in the front end. Washed off the a arms and shock bushing and now its quiet again.

If you had put the wire in the empty 3rd pin hole on the switch it would have been easier

Finished installing the pioneer....started yesterday, got some help on here to finish!! First major undertaking of something so big, there are a few things I will figure out later. So glad its done :lmao:
