Nothing at the moment since they havent even started working on it yet. I live like 1/8 from the dealership, so its not a big deal. Ill just be using the wife's Rav4 for the next few days.

Hard to see the salt in this pic, but my truck is covered with a half inch of road salt. Parked next to an 03 and had to snap a quick pic in the snow

This was yesterday but I took it off road for the first time in its life! Definitely is tricky with all the safety traction features and all
Can't figure out how to turn everything off.
I'm used to my 98 4x4 tacoma with nothing like it
I used lighter fluid. It worked better than goo gone.

some issues taken care of.............. 
Got some coupons in the mail for a 4 wheel alignment for $59, 5% discount if appointment made online. State inspection is due, so.................
Dropped her off, got the news that driver's side front CV boot is torn and whole CV has to be replaced. Front passenger caliber was frozen as well (it was starting to freeze up. These items I knew about last year, I just kept trucking along knowing it would eventually get done). Been stupidly cold here and work and other projects have me tied down. Bit the bullet and had the stealer do it. Also had the 4 wheel alignment, wheels rotated, propeller shaft lubed (clunking like crazy), parking brake adjusted, brake fluid drained/filled (never been done before, figure it can't hurt).
Because they didn't have some parts (brakes), I had to leave her overnight. I was given a renter (2013 RAV4).
Talked to the tech (Anthony at Bennett Toyota). Really nice guy. Knows his stuff. I trust him.

See the infotainment screen? Yeah, me neither. It was cloudy that day and sunny the next. Except for nightime, I never saw the stupid screen. MAJOR DESIGN FLAW. Engine was adequate, but not slow. Interior was very plastic-y, cheap feeling. It also features a lane-departing turn signal (you turn the stalk and let go, but it will always blink 3 times........... annoying. At least to me) Nice ride, but overall the RAV4 is blah. After driving it, I came to the conclusion that it's about exiting as my Cuisinart Coffee maker. It gets the job. That's about it. Overall, I wouldn't waste my money on this. I really wanted to like it, but I couldn't. Couldn't wait to get my baby back!

I thought your dad had the previous generation? My brother has a 2009. That one is WAAY nicer than the new one.

I have a rav4 too, a 97. Its a tough little car. 160,xxx miles on it. About half of them are mine and same as my 4runner those weren't easy miles. Lol.

I drove an 05 RAV4 for a year before I got my first 4Runner. Tough car, I even took it on trails lol. Sister still drives it at 164k miles, no issues with it.

Toyotas are inherently boring. Many people, including me, like it that way. Hell, my family is a Toyota family. Anyway, saw a 2013 CRV and was impressed by it. My 07 Civic (only non-Toyota currently in our family fleet............. wait, no, my brother has a KIA Optima) has 157K miles on it and hasn't made a peep.
