If you want a single projector setup like mine, it's < 200. The projector I used is 120 from TRS, halos are 45, high beam splitters 10, it adds up, but I got it all on their black friday sale. FOr the MH1 most guys charge around 150-200 depending on what's involved, just for labor.

Ah ok cool. Yeah I'm confident doing engine mechanical stuff but I suck at fab, I'll probably buy a set of amazon headlights and retrofit them before I pay someone though. Stuff to think about...but I deff want projectors

It's really pretty easy for the mh1 style ones. Amazon ones are a good move. I'd have done that if I didn't get the Black Friday deal.

Got a few more parts today's hopefully everything else is here tomorrow to install before my trip this weekend
Installed my PA, and finishing up running my coaxial and antenna mount today! The PA is fun, and you can creep the shit out of people. hahaha.

Ditch Lights
I finished up this project finally!
Safety first!
I fed wires through the firewall where the hood release cable passes through.
Made my wiring harness for the FJ Fog light switches. Crimped, soldered, and shrunk wrap everything:

Here is the center switch going in, outboard (passenger) is already in here.
I took Constant 12V from the lighter socket. I took illumination 12V from the cup holder illumination (pictured just below the green pliers). I chose not to create any logic to tie these into my High Beams, I do not plan on using these on the road.
Here is the night illumination in action!

Just to prove that the "on" light works too!
Since I was going to wire two switches (to have scalability in case a bumper happens), I decided to hook up some cheapo rock lights. $6 bucks on amazon, and they get the job done!
Here are my relays after just being hooked up. I used some old speaker wire I had from an old stereo install in my 944.
CBI Ditch Brackets, KC Daylighters ($100, prime-able on amazon)

That isn't my pic, but you get the idea. There are 4 little screws on the mount and it basically wraps around the edge of the tailgate. It's a neat little mount. I can post more tomorrow if that doesn't quite clear it up
