Oh I am. From what I'm seeing, nobody has this product. I'm the guinnea pig, that's ok. Ask [MENTION=63211]emelianenkov[/MENTION] , me and electical work don't go hand in hand, LOL. But seriously, this electrical install should be easy.
Griot Garage 6" is a "step up" from the Porter Cable (more powerful and lifetime warranty). I haven't decided which one yet. I figure I can't go wrong with either of them.

Saturday my wife has something planned. Either way, they are not painted so installing them would be a waste. I might "test fit" this weekend if I find the time. If I run into some trouble................ :naughty:.......... I'll give ya a holler. Some beers will be in order as well.
EDIT: I'll test fit them, if they are totally out of alignment, I'm sending them back.

They wanted you to pay for the missed appointment to have work done on your 4R?!
Did you pay them? If so, how much since they couldn't say how long it was going to take?

Now this is more like it!!
Also went to Toyota this morning for the Trans flush and I told them I wanted to see the color of the fluid. Well I could hear the tech say, why does she want to see the color..how am I suppose to show her the color put it in a jar for her.
It ended up being perfectly fine and they didn't do anything. But I did tell him I have every right to see the color and that he didn't have to be a smart ass :flipoff:

I didn't pay for anything since nothing was done, I gave them a days notice. But you can see from my last post I found something better.
I used the porter cable for a few years.i sold it and upgraded to the Flex 3401. It has more power, balances better and let's me get done faster.
The Flex with a good pad selection using Menzerna products will give you great results. The Menzerna products are easy to use. The a Opti lineup is good too.

Flex 3401 is what i use and i detail as a side business. Really nice machine but it does and will fight a novice. If you're only doing it for recreation and your own vehicle i would suggest buying a PC as its a little slower but very capable. Price point is a lot better for those not looking to do it regularly.
Seems like the a Griots are getting alot of press now too. Plus they are cheaper that the PC or Flex.
I really like the a Flex, makes detailing my boat a lot easier..

If i were to recommend anything for someone just starting, itd be Harbor Freight polisher. Looks just like the PC, cheaper and more powerful. Also a reall good warranty.
I love my Flex, i still have my PC with 3" pads for headlights/bumpers and small spots for detailing.

I do some detailing on the side too, I liked the Griot's garage for the value. I've had it for a year now and I love it. Finding 6" pads for it is never a problem and the results are always great. Been using Meguiar's products with it lately.

with any PC i wouldnt use over 5-6" pads, after that you're just losing momentum. Dont get caught up in the bigger pad = better hype. 6" pads can be found anywhere
I detail because I can't find anyone who isn't a complete idiot to detail my vehicles. I would guess that, in inexperienced hands, the lower power of the PC would be preferable.

Other than spending a lot of time trying to figure out the best, most cost effective, way to get a better stereo (or at least an Aux in) for my 2005, I haven't done much to it.
Torn between just replacing the whole head unit with a good, ipod/bluetooth/USB/AUX unit... but losing my steering wheel controls and most likely most of my JBL speakers.
Or doing the Blitzsafe TOY/AUX DMX V.2 piece and leaving the rest as-is.
Have climate control bulbs on order, looking forward to getting that all lit up properly. Researching leveling lift (to keep my XREAS).
Haven't had a car that gave me the mod bug for over 3 years now. This one's bit me hard.

True, but the advantage of random orbital buffers over rotary buffers is that it is extremely difficult to burn the paint with a random orbital buffer compared to a rotary one. That is why a novice can pick one up and get the hang of it pretty easily.
