What did you do with your 4runner today?

So what are you all doing about f up rear parking brakes
Id like to just eliminate
The fing brake
Shits just clicking while i drive now
They were frozen
I could not find the adjuster
I used a bfh and some bolts
Which stripped out
So i might pick up some grade 8 bolts and have at it
The noise now is driving me nuts
Why does the simple shit always give me problems errr

I put two coats of POR15 semi gloss on both of the factory skid plates while I had them off. They weren't too bad, but there was definitely a few rust spots.

Also removed the charcoal filter, ordered some extended sway bar links, and drank a beer.

Rack finished....Stupid phone pics....If it looks familiar, it's because it started life as a Rage powersports roof basket. We added 28" to it, added light tabs and low mount brackets.

Tip: Want a heavy duty draw bolt? A 1"x 1/4" flat bar cut to 1 1/2" will slide in the factory rails. Drill it with a 9/32 drill bit and tap it with a 5/16 tap.

The open space between the rails has a panel that will go in it's place when done.

Still may do a repaint, and install the security bolts. I finished another project Saturday, I'll get some pics later...
About to build my test/prototype quick release/adjustable sway bay links. If it goes as planned, I'll have about $25 in the pair.

I installed a Toytec front diff drop (yes, I know you don't need it....but I like my axle angles as close to stock as I can get) and re-installed my factory skid plates.

Can you tell which part was POR15'd?

Today was my 2 year anniversary with my 4Runner. How does it react to that? It wouldn't start this morning and I had to have my sister drive me into work :redbrick:

Luckily it ended up just being a loose negative battery terminal but still! First time it ever left me stranded!
