What did you do with your 4runner today?

I thought we wanted to get MORE caster to make it not so twitchy? Wish my camber was at 0.0, gotta cut the old bolts out first :flamethrwoer2:

Caster might take care of the twitchy not sure, but told by my brother, it's mainly how fast it will return the wheel back straight.
I drive a big rig so I'm used to what some might call twitchy. Mine feels great though.

I'm 6'2 and am annoyed at the 4runners low roof (without sunroof), I couldn't imagine being 6'8 in one.

mine also has a sunroof. I dropped my seat 2" and still rub randomly.

Yup, I'm a big guy, not too tall (about 5'11") and I bump my head on the roof all the time. Wish I'd found a truck without a sunroof.

I remember your thread on that mod. I can't even count how many 4runner deals I had to pass up until I found one without a sunroof. I was starting to think sunroofs came standard.

Picked up my rack. In the process of priming/painting as we speak!

Added Gibson exhaust and stainless steel front brake lines.

The exhaust is louder than I'd like, but the stock muffler was shot so I figured why not try it.

The stainless brake lines have greatly improved peddle feel. Great upgrade, but I would bet most of the benefit comes from new lines in general, I'm not sure stainless is any better for us.

Started the lift. Got the driver side Camburg UCA and 5100+885 in, but I started late so had to call it with that done. I'll spend most of tomorrow doing the rest while my son is with his mom. Looks like I'll likely pull the front sway bar for the time being. If I like the way it drives I'll leave it, if not I'll get the relocate.

Been awhile since I posted anything on here, thought Id share some of the recent projects.
First built a roof rack, wanted one super low profile to avoid windnoise. Turned out pretty much just how I wanted it. Also been putting in some time on my custom long travel kit. Got the uppers tacked and lowers fully built today, minus shock tabs and pressing in the new balljoints and bushings. Pics are from this morning, before I finished the lowers. Pretty stoked on the outcome so far.

I was thinking of making my own long travel too. Are you keeping angles the same just making them longer? Was trying to figure it out in my brain. Lol

Tried to take some pics of my new lights I just wired on my bull guard. Anyone have suggestions to take good pictures of lights at night??? I know using an iPhone doesn't help....and the gopro didn't do much better...
