I could actually use a new spare tire hanger. Mine is pretty rusty and the cable is frayed.

Let me pull it tomorrow, i'll pull the cable out get you a shot. We can work something, prefer someone that can use it than tossing it.
60.00$ +/- a piece on JEGS or Amazon. Kinda spendy.

Well I finally changed out both of my blown rear bearings and all new seals and components. While I was at it and had everything torn apar,nI also decided to install new parking brake shoes and complete new hardware kit, and while I was still at it I might as well fresh in up my rear brakes so I installed a complete rebuild kit along with of course some new brake pads. also flushed Out my brake and filled with all new and drain my diff and filled with new.nand of course to top off my my complete new rebuilt rear end/axle I also got her some new 4"stilettos 285/75/16 she went bigger 2" heels 265/75/16 and I must say she fills them in very nicely.
So new parts installed
..2 Rear Wheel Bearings
.. Seals,retainers,clips
..parking brake shoes
..parking brake hardware
..rebuilt calipers
..brake pads
.. Ss brake lines
..Brake fluid flush
.. Tires 285/75/16
..differential fluid changed

I will never touch the parking brake components on one of these 4th gens ever again, this is the only thing I have ever said I won't touch again and this will be also the first time I would say I would pay and allow someone to work on my rig.
That design is a F ing nightmare, never again. I will just go without a parking brake if there's ever an issue in the future.

I rebuilt my rear brake calipers this weekend as well. Super easy. I got the kit from Toyota, comes with everything for the caliper and bracket. $28. I have now rebuilt my front and rears for under $50. I was wondering why I don't see others rebuilding them, only swapping them out for rebuilt ones from Centric or Powerstop. I figure even if I rebuilt them every 2-3 years, or once every brake job they should be fine. Better than paying $90 per caliper.

Go here and pick out your radio and click on FW updates. There should be instructions on how to do it. IIRC its just download the update. Put it on an empty thumb drive. Hook it up and start the radio/truck.

Went and played in Joshua Tree this weekend. The wheel spacers definitely helped my remote reservoir clearance issue. Almost fully stuffed and I still had about a 1/2" clearance between the tire and the reservoir. I am however rubbing somewhere else in the front now though. Heard it a couple times while we were tooling around off road.
