What did you do with your 4runner today?

First time this has happens to me on any vehicle. I don't know what it's suppose to look like.

Gave it a good washing and cleaning after a hiking trip to Caprock Canyons SP in the Texas panhandle. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Tacoma Suspension Upgrade

Finally pulled the Xreas off the truck. Picked up 2014 Tacoma front struts & springs along with rear shocks. Left the Daystar leveling kit and rear 4runner springs on. The rear is a little lower, bugs me every time I look at it. Need to find some FJ springs.

Wanted to install my CV axles but I dont have a garage and its pouring here in Maryland so I found something quick to do.

I cut off my resonator. Why haven't I done this already?

Busted my lip using my skateboard as a creeper. Popped up and smacked me in the jaw.

Going back inside to work on my coilovers and UCAs.... oh yea I pressed the bearings out of all of them and getting the UCAs painted.

Changed my oil, added another wind reflector plate cause it ain't gonna help like a skid plate would, and added some heavy duty rubber to the front bumper for wind resistance. I'll post pics when my data comes back in a few days

Wanna sell it to me? I'm gonna keep my tiny race Flowmaster and add the stock resonator back to see if it nulls it down enough for my liking, wife says it's too dang loud on long trips. Pm me info if you wanna sell it

Connected my bussman fuse box along with ground panel to my house battery. I've got a Whynter 45qt fridge coming Tuesday along with a 12v and usb panel so I'll be running wires tomorrow to hook all that up. I'm also rewiring my CB and pods to the house battery tomorrow to get it off the starter battery.

Inspired by Kneecap's build, I decided to start making my own full length rack. I have next to no welding experience, but it's turning out ok so far and I think i'm past the hardest part. The wife doesn't really seem impressed with how much money i've saved vs buying an off the shelf alternative :wtf:

I have 3 butt welds for the corner pieces, looks almost seamless. Try your best, grind the rest

Pulled the front end apart and installed the total chaos coil gussets plus some new front bump stops. Changed out the rear brake line for a set that is 2" longer but the down fall is that it won't fit back into the bracket to install the clip. Seems like these are going to get sent back.

Finally got out to test the Ironman suspension I put on a few weeks ago. First two photos are post lift. Third photo is from the same spot right after I bought the truck, with the stock setup - lots more wheel travel

Dramatic improvement over what was on before - eats up the washboards and is supple, but firm offroad. Really pleased.

Check out Kneecap's build, I made mounts similar to his. If you're relatively handy and aren't new to tools, I'm sure you can do it as well.

my next project, going to use another set of 15w hid in the turn signal and integrate them with the other kit i have. will use a relay harness incase something happens, but ill be doing the 20 dollars version module.

After struggling a bit and running out of time, I'm going to have a local mechanic do my front tacoma coil swap. The price was sold but he said I should let it settle for a week before getting an alignment.
I'm going on a 500 mile 1 way trip to Richmond va on Thursday (swap is getting done Wednesday). Would it be smart to get the alignment weds with the swap or wait until Friday when we get to Virginia? The mechanic said he could get it close but I don't want to wear my KOs unevenly if that would happen in 500 miles.
