What did you do with your 4runner today?

I filled her up with gas, cleaned the glass and headlights, loaded my wife's snowboard and father in laws skis on MY 4Runner so they could go skiing while I WORK!!!! WTF???:frusty::frusty::frusty:

With all the emotional stress this has clearly caused you, I recommend that you take a personal day and stay home from work.

Maybe spend the day shopping for another 4runner so you don't have to share...

$20 of quarters, muddy shoes at the car wash and still have Arizona mud on this thing. It's caked on underneath.

Go get one of those rotating sprinklers and just put it under the rig and let it go back and forth for awhile. It will reach all the little spots too.

HAhaha, you sound like a nice guy. I do that a lot. I fill her up, clean her out then I hand the keys over to my wife while she and my inlaws take my rig. I figure with all that positive karma, my day is coming!!! :biggrin2:

1 piston on my caliper was stuck, tried to free it, and ended up nicking the rubber boot. was pissed called it a day.
start again another day to free the stuck piston. it couldnt go all the way inside, my Gclamps werent getting a good purchase to actuate press in the pistons, thus i used a pry bar, next i decided to open up the bleeder valve a bit , to see if it wud help. i ended up breaking off the bleeder valve!,
what a day!..shopping for a new or used front passenger caliper.

dont think trying to drill out the bleeder valve stem is a good idea

Well...I did take Wednesday off to go skiing in 2' of delicious white fluffy freshness at Breckenridge without her...

Love to have a 2nd T4R but she drives an MDX without racks on top and I just got a new Subaru Outback for company car. Sadly it's not in the cards... for now!

If it's stuck already just getting it unstuck isn't the best solution anyways. Definitely want to replace it. Less than a hundred bucks.

Buddy of mine gave me his bull bar from his F150 after he parked his truck on top of a civic.
It wouldn't quite reach so I made some brackets and made it work. Turned out pretty good I think.

I'm still at the "keeping it stock stage" for now, so no work on it yet.

Took it for a drive to NY State to visit a few places we don't have in Canada.

The ride is great and it is comfortable for longer drives.

Installed some Camburg UCAs. Very impressed with the quality.

Damaged an ABS harness somehow, so I had to repair it. Easy to see why so many people break them, there was no sign of any damage on the outside, but somehow there was no continuity in either wire.

I said the same thing when I bought my Mustang. It was my daily driver so it would stay stock. I haven't done anything major, but I've done fog lights (required cutting holes in the bumper), spoiler and exhaust. I'm already thinking about stuff for the 4runner. It only came with winter tires so I'll be shopping in the spring for summer tires, and maybe wheels.

Yep! Has the car hop service, a drive-thru and sit down. When I first heard of this one opening, I wondered what they would do in the winter since I'd only seen them while on vacation further south. Looks like they found a way to deal with winter.
