Look man, regardless of when you buy a Toyota or what kind of Toyota it is, plan on paying from 10% off of list to full list price+, depending on the dealer, geographic location and vehicle. That's OTD price. There is no need for a thread or multiple threads or even multiple responses. That is what you can expect. Seriously. If you go back through the nine million posts in the two hundred thousand threads that is what you will find with 99% certainty. Nothing has changed deal-wise since 2010 regarding the price you pay and your deal making skills with Toyota. So if a new 4Runner of any type lists for $40K, 99% of the time you will pay between $36K and $40K+TTL. I know this is not the sexy way to answer the post but it is the factual way.

New Member and must agree. I just purchased a 2015 SR5 Premium. MSRP $38,500 with some dealer and port adds. I paid $35,500 and think i got a good deal. One dealer wanted 37,500 and another quoted 33,500 over email but i was thinking he was high on something.

2016 trail premium

Just plunked down $500 deposit for a 2016 Gray Trail Premium with running boards, cross bars, remote start and wheel locks. Couldn't get any with KDSS in this area.

Paid 38,500 after visiting many dealerships, very hard to find trail editions here so it made negotiations a little more difficult. Just under 5% off msrp.

Still don't have the car yet but should be getting it in a week or two, looking forward to it and all the great info on the forums.
