What do you call this and where do I get it cheaper than at the dealer?

Hi all,

some *******s had fun demolishing my mudflaps - or are they splashguards? So much for parking at public trans after dark in Oakland, CA! Anyhow, the guy at Kragen ordered the wrong splashguards and before I go to the dealer I want to know if I can just order these parts cheaper online. So what exactly are they called and where can I order them?

thats part of the running board...

when someone took or tried to take the running boards off, they probably thought that they could remove that portion and you cant...

I dont think the dealer would sell that and it would be really tricky to get one off another 4runner without ripping it as the black plastic is literally attatched (glued,Melted) onto the grommets that you see

I tore part of mine taking them off and stopped immediately to figure out what was up.

Also, search through the classifieds on this forum and yotatech. People are often selling running boards cheaply, so you could easily pick up something you need there for a good price.

I think you should just loose the running boards. Problem solved, no $$, and you'll look cooler.
