What do you do with spare parts?

I was just curious what everyone here does with their OEM parts after they upgrade/mod their 4runners out.

There can't be a terribly huge market for stock parts right?

I have a large collection of useless parts that I maintain scatered around my attic, garage and yard. Mostly I keep them for a few years then throw them away a week before I need to use it.

There may be a better plan than this ...

I store mine in the attic in my shop, if and when I sell/trade my 4Runner I will mostly pull the bolt ons off & sell them seperatley. I will put the original parts back on, screwed up not doing that with my tundra, cost me in the trade-in value. I also could have used the Alpine speakers & amp in the 4Runner instead of having to buy more new stuff. Oh well live and learn.

when my previous vehicle got totaled the insurance company so they can be missing a head unit or anything like that. So I took out my nice one and put the stocker back in.
