When FJ cruisers think your lifted 4Runner with street tires can't climb a sand hill, then you end up climbing it successfully and they have to get winched up it!

Stopped at a liquor store and when I came back out a guy was starring at the 4runner. I gave him a look like, can I help you? He goes "man cool truck, it looks like a monster truck!" Kinda weird having a grown man tell you your vehicle looks like a monster truck, but I guess it's a cool compliment.

When I got my tires from a guy who had a [/B]locked lifted and armored 4x4 LC,[/B] he said " them tires gonna fit on the soccer mom truck"

My neighbor, who also has a 5th gen, swears that my truck is a bigger vehicle than her's (not just taller - it is lifted). After some discussion as to height and how it affects perception, she eventually sat in the passenger seat (I was sure she would see that the cabin was the same size as her's) and she said "see I told you so this has WAY more space!" She then asked "are you sure this isn't a Sequoia?"

I've had a lot of people give me the "no f-ing way" look when I tell them how many miles are on them. Usually followed by a "you must take really good care of that.". Yes, yes I do. Thank you.
My hot neighbor down the street asked me if she could drive Tyrone when I had that one. Sure. She told me she use to have one, that was also a 5 speed and misses it. She now has a CRV. Ugh.

I've got two coworkers with CRVs... they have nothing on my 4Runner.
They have auto all wheel drive and no way to control it!?!

I get the "no f'ing way" look/comment when they find out it is 12 years old. Hard for me to even believe myself sometimes. My neighbors often mistake it for my wife's 5th gen when it is sitting outside the garage.

I posted this on Blcktpgsr's page too, cuz he had a funny Jeep story.
About a week ago, I had a weird Cheech lookalike come up to me and say, "Hey man, I like your Jeep. We should take it up to the Rubicon together."
What bothered me most is that we've never met each other and he thinks we should go the Rubicon together in my JEEP. Oh, and he was driving a beater Honda Civic.
