I posted this on Blcktpgsr's page too, cuz he had a funny Jeep story.
About a week ago, I had a weird Cheech lookalike come up to me and say, "Hey man, I like your Jeep. We should take it up to the Rubicon together."
What bothered me most is that we've never met each other and he thinks we should go the Rubicon together in my JEEP. Oh, and he was driving a beater Honda Civic.
"I like your Jeep Cherokee"
Does anyone else find it funny when people think 100,000 miles on your 4Runner is a lot?
One of the guys at my mechanics shop told me I should put 200 shot of NOS.
That was a sign you idiot. She wanted to sit on more than your 4Runner.My neighbor, who also has a 5th gen, swears that my truck is a bigger vehicle than her's (not just taller - it is lifted). After some discussion as to height and how it affects perception, she eventually sat in the passenger seat (I was sure she would see that the cabin was the same size as her's) and she said "see I told you so this has WAY more space!" She then asked "are you sure this isn't a Sequoia?"
Yes my MILFy neighbor - I'm sure it isn't a Sequoia, but please come by to test your suspicions any time you like.
An older gentleman pulled up to me at a stop light the other day and asked if I had been keeping my 4runner in grandma's basement. I told him no, I just try and take care of my autos.
I had another guy at the gas station tell me he'd give me 10K for my 4runner once I told him what it had (4wd, locker, leather). I still have his card. He even like the Autumn Blaze Mica; maybe I should have sold it to him and walked home.
