What lift to buy?

I am really torn on what lift to buy for my 2006 SE w/ XREAS.... I am looking to get it off the ground for better ground clearance on trails however it is a daily driver and will probably not be rode on the trails to much and if i do take it on trails i doubt that i will be taking it any where to intense.... What lift should i put on my 4runner? I don't feel like i would need a complete coilover swap but i do want more than just 1" in the front.... Please help!!

Current set up: 255/75 R17 BFG Muds, Stock ride height w/ XREAS, will be buying spidertrax once i figure what lift to get.

All opinions and pics of lifts would be great. I am pretty mechanical so i will be doing the lift myself. Just not sure which one would be the best for me.

Not sure if this one works with the XREAS, but think it will. I would start off with a Daystar 2.5" kit. That would be 2.5" spacers above the rear coils, and 1.5" spacers about the front struts. This is what many start off with to see how they like it. Cost is around $150 for the kit.

I've looked at the Daystar alot. And also looked at the toytec. On the toytec do you buy a front spacer and than the rear coil or do they have a rear spacer also?

u should check out the cornfed 3"/2" by burton industries. thought they were made out of better materials than the daystar. i have that and the spidertrax 1.25" spacers - it's a really good setup. u can fit 33"s w/ some fender trimming

+1 on the Cornfed 3/2; that's what I am running, also with 33's. Either getting the Toytec Ultimate kit or the Overland Warehouse Radflo suspension kit hopefully here in a month or so. The cornfed will be fine if your not looking for offroad performance, you will get more height but nothing else. But if you want to just go ahead and take care of it and spend more money initially you will probably be happiest. Everyone you ask that gets a spacer lift wants to get a full suspension replacement eventually and says that they wish they had just spent the $300 for the Cornfed 3/2 or whatever towards a kit like the Toytec Ultimate or Radflo. You can go with an Old Man Emu set up also, less expensive than the two I just mentioned but you should probably just wait and save to get Toytec or Radflo.

Take it from me. I have the 3" spacer lift from toytec with a 1" BL and the end of this summer I will have the adjustable coils that come with the Ultimate. I have had great experience with the Spacers but wish I just waited longer to get the Ultimate lift.

But, I Did, and still do, love my lift!!

My needs are very similar to yours (mostly highway with occasional light-trail camping and offroading). Based on those details and the XReas setup, I chose the Daystar 2.5 / 1.5 Kit. I did the install myself (extremely simple), in about 3 hours. I'm extremely pleased w/ the end-result. The lift isn't crazy-aggressive, just enough to seperate me from the soccer-mom crowd, and allow larger diameter tires. Based on your needs, I'd say the D-star will be perfect.

x2. Got 1.25 All Pro spacers and it's perfect. Who am I kidding? This is my parking lot princess. It does fine on trail rides.
