What mileage were u at with that MOD?

So I thought this might be fun to see... How many miles did u have on your truck when u did that Mod...???

The reason I ask is my GF keeps telling me to wait for this and wait for that... Blah blah blah is all I hear... I had a month to wait for my Trail which gave me a month to stare at all of your trucks and see what you did to yours... Day 1 was Duratracs and tint.... After that it was intake and sliders-(ordered)... Then it was purchasing grill supplies... And today I just finished researching exhaust between magnaflow and borla... (ordered borla mainly cause I always wanted a borla exhaust when I was younger and never had the cash) all with only 755 miles on my trial... if the powdercoat shop would email me back on how long it takes to turnaround painting my TE rims I would be done with my build(((untill the GF lets me get the gobi)))) I know I'm super impatient...

I did decide I have to wait till at least 1000 miles to cut my OEM grill... Plus the plasti-dip to the front emblem has made me love the OEM grill...for now

250 miles- tree pin-stripe mod

800 miles- dropped off with demello for a front bumper, sliders, winch, lights

815 miles- dropped off with Total Chaos for suspension work

9000 miles- dropped off with outdoor logic for a rear bumper/tire carrier and roof rack

And lots of little mods in between
 
Your GF might be suggesting you go slow so you don't get board with it too quickly... your truck that is ... ha ha.

Something to stop the nose dive.... New springs and probably Bilstien 5100's...
 
I put some weathertech mats in mine asap. Now I'm thinking about a set of Rock Warrior wheels are some halfway decent tires. From there, we'll see what blows my skirt up. :D

I plan on doing all the work on this truck by myself, like I've done with every car I've had before this one..
 
I had the truck for only a couple of weeks before I had the lift and tires put on. Just recently added new wheels at 18k.
 
Married guy here, dumb question but will ask. What does it matter what you do to your truck ? Not trying to stir the pot but it's your truck and I assume your money, how does she have any say so ? I never question how my wife spends her money and she never ask what I do with my cash.

Mod away, girlfriends are a dime a dozen lose control now you lost it for good after the walk down the aisle. Think your grandfather had to ask for permission:hunter:

Hahahahaha... I knew that was coming...I could give you several reason why she has a say in it... but mostly because she is way out of my league and she will still go see comic book movies with me on opening night at the midnight showing just to make me happy and because she has waited five+ years for a ring that I say I can't afford yet I somehow keep finding MOD money....

and the most important reason she can do this :girl:

thats a damn good reason as it is!!! save your icon stage 6 + bumper money for a ring. get the ring have many :girl::girl::girl::girl::girl: and as a wedding gift get mod money!! EASY :nerd:

Back on topic...

I have a few mods.:hatsoff:

The day I brought mine home I pried and broke the clips holding the trays over the rear wheel wells for what is now known as the "Rear wheel well storage Mod". I guess that was- what, 20 miles? Before I hit 100 miles I already had footwell lights installed and took most of the dash apart too.

I had read Harper's entire thread the night before going to the dealer and was excited to start! Fun stuff!

I can agree with most of this, BUT, if you're married there is no his and hers. It's OURS! GFs are a dime a dozen, however, wives are one of a kind.

With that said, until you are married or engaged for that matter, it is YOUR money. Spend it as you please. If she's worth it, you'll buy the ring before you mod.
