What to buy next?!

Well i just sold my brush guard so i've got a little bit of money to spend and im not exactly sure wat i wanna buy, everything sounds great but im not set on one specific item so im trying to get a poll on wat u think i should get... the other items will be purchased later down the line!

So many options on wat i purchase:
1. Field Monitor Unit
2. Scangauge II
3. 2" Body Lift
4. Extend Roof Rack
5. Projectors
6. Misc Items (such as ipod cable, GPS antenna, bluetooth mic, back-up cam, D-ring shackles, power inverter, extended diff breather)

*Please don't say rock sliders bc i do NOT want to get them until last since i want a BL for sure. :thanks:

I would go with a roof rack.

I would say only get the FMU if you really want a compass and temp gauge. And remember you will have to do the temp conversions from C to F in your head.

It's a super cool and rare feature, but only worth it is you really want those 2 things.

Doing some of those misc. things will be good because they are cheap enough. Definitely do the breather because that takes not time and money. The ipod cord is a must because 90% of the time you are with your 4runner you are in it. I just got an ipod adapter and it makes a world of difference driving around. Since you are low on money it should be things that will benefit you the most for the time being. A body lift will create more work to adjust the ARB too.

i went with the scan gauge, as I'm not really a fan of body lifts and the scan gauge can be used on your 4runner and every other vehicle you own now or will own in the reasonable future, if you don't have a roof rack at all i'd say that trumps the scan gauge but i wouldn't choose an extended roof rack over a scan gauge if i already had one, you know, scan gauges are handy tools to have around and can really help you stay in tune with your truck and whats going on with it.

I say keep saving and get an aussie locker for the rear since your 2WD, but if I have to choose I'd say Scangauge II

My vote is for the Body Lift then extended diff breather which is like $10.
but it also depends on how and what u do with your truck.

Why do you want a body lift? Bigger tires on the smallest lift possible looks the best. You could probably fit the treadwright 315s without a body lift as they are a 34" tire.

Ya im leaning towards the body lift since ive been wanting it for a while... but as for the extending the roof rack, i want this feature so it will be the full length of the 4runner so i can run limb risers since where i typically go there are alot of brush and tree branches hitting the 4runner.

Well if i get the misc items id buy them all at once since it would even out to the same costs of the other options. I had an ipod wire and loved it on my alpine but ive just been making cds and using the aux jack for the time being.

Chris: ya i thought bout trying to fit them but dont really wanna have to do alot of trimming and tub my fenders... i know that Haddix had to do that when he got 315s being on only a OME lift.

This is such a hard decision but thnx for all ur feedback bc its making things a little easier.

With only a 3" sus lift, You won't be fitting 315s without major hacking or a 2" body lift (315/75/16s are considered a 35"). I've compared 315s (BFGs) to 35x12.5s and actually the 315s were ~.25" taller unmounted. BTW, I needed a 1" BL to fit 255/85s (33.5s) even with my 3" sus. lift.

I say spend the $$ on an Aussie or a Lockright.

ya thats y i wanna get the BL but i dont have the money to spend on a locker of any sort right now since they are pricey and id still need it installed...

Im only able to play with something around the $200 range and i havent been able to wheel enough lately to get the most out of the locker at this time.

Thank you izzardking for being the first to listen to me about the 4 bolts!!!!! Hallelulah!! I swear I've suggested that many times like you said, but no one seems to actually do it. Glad I could help and now someone else can confirm it makes install go way faster and easier! And I must give credit where credit is due, Elton gave me the idea first.
