if you saved it and squeeze out one more $100 you could do a Defiant short tube with 4 PIAA 520s (2 black crystal ion fog, 2 black crystal ion driving) for about $600 and change.:biggrin2:

With $500 I'd probably go with window tint all the way around (including sun strip) and an iPod classic to store in the vehicle. And, if there's enough, get that man card back. If not, ask you wife for a loaner until Christmas.

Other suggestions are tools, recovery gear, cargo organizer, seat covers...

Here's a good way to spend 500.00 bucks: rear diff breather mod, infinity tweeters in dash, weather tech floor mats, interior LED lighting and maybe some dynamat in the doors... Done.
