I was looking at the brand new POS gloves. Adorable.

Here's last years 5:11 gloves got tired of busted knuckles so tried the Oakley's out with this years uniform allowance at work. Always looking for something better to help protect myself/fight with the drunks what do you use in your line of work????

at first it was too much. i have pretty thick skin on my hands, i work on the Rail Road and a mechanic for the USAF - but it was because the ridges on the stipples were raised and not worn in yet. after about 150 rounds it got better, the next 200 really smoothed it out.

its a very very secure grip and the 3lb trigger really helped improve my accuracy and longer distances, I'm about 450 rounds deep into the pistol since i had the mods done to it and its flawless. i carry it everywhere i go pretty much.

Heck yeah I figured it would take some time to get your hands use to it. Thank you for your service! Will never forget this is the land of the free because of the brave! Stay safe out there.

After shredding 3 pairs of Oakleys (at least they were free) I went with something a bit like your 5:11's. I forget the name... I'll try to find them.

The Oakleys are probably great for fighting drunks, however.

Edit** hatch operator HK's were the ones. Really loved them.

Picked these up in camping section at local Wally World holds 75lbs little before and after great key chain and gives you about 4 or 5 feet of cord on key chain depending on how you like to wrap it.

Messed up a year ago, tried to get a Serbu Super Shorty, but missed getting it before the Single Shot Exemption sunset. Could have had that little guy on my CCW. Makes me sad.

Lol, my buddy had a XD45 that was super comfy too. As much as I want another pistol, my next gun purchase is gonna be a SHTF rifle. I'm thinking M16A/2 clone or a PTR-91. Hell, I've really been digging FALs lately too. Can't really go wrong with a battle rifle.

Agreed cover all the bases hunting slef protection and go to war if need be imho

I like the optics and "tacticool" stuff. But I really want a basic rifle, no frills, nothing special. Less points of failure. But that's not to say I won't build an AR with all the fancy stuff though. Just means I need a bigger gun cabinet. Lol.

Oh, has anyone used one of those backpacks Glock sells? I'm sure I could find something like it for way cheaper but I need something with a million pockets.
