I'm in Kommiefornia what is this ammo thing you speak of? Our state is a gun free zone.

Shot doves in Yuma Az , got Federal 9mm aluminum case for $8.97 a box.

We also found CCI mini mags boxes of 100 for $7.99 , came home with 5,000 rounds of that.

Cannot find Hornaday 6.5 Creedmoor to save a liberals life, Ruger rep gave me two boxes to break in my new Ruger Precision rifle but that is all I have. He pulled some strings to get me to top of the list so I did not have time to load up on ammo for it yet.

This is what I used for many years: Inside-the-Pants Holster without Retention Strap - BLACKHAWK!

Nylon inside-the-pants holster. Comfy against my skin; yet sweat resistant. Thin, soft. Easy to access. No strap.

EDC: Sig P220 in a Comp-Tac Minotaur holster. Also have a JM Custom Kydex for when I have a jacket on.

EDC backup: Sig 938, or primary for a t-shirt/shorts day with no backpack.

Used to carry a HK P2000, looking to switch to a HK45C next month.
Love both HK and Sig, but for different reasons.

More details:

The Sig Sauer P239 is my conceal carry. My Ruger SP101 is at home in safe for my wife.

Ammo: Winchester PDX1 124 gr +P for my Sig; and Federal Hydrashok 38 special for my Ruger.

Even though the Ruger is rated for 357 caliber, I chose 38 special so that my wife can handle it better (in case she needs to use it).

Well, my wife cannot pull back the slide...so, revolver only option! And I wanted a fairly heavy one to avoid overwhelming recoil. She has shot it a few times at the range and did fine.

It took a lot of range time and training to get my wife to shoot mine and feel comfortable with it,bit on the slender side as well 5'10 125 lol ! Last time I watched her drop 8 bowling pins I thought d@mn better not piss her off!
