No safe - everybody here-abouts has a firearm of some type, so not much worry about getting one stolen.

I have a Springfield XDm that I keep in the truck, and my new most favorite pistol of all time, an H&K P30s in the car. I'm ambidextrous with a pistol, and the P30 can be operated just as easily with either hand without any reconfiguration.
I just bought a Tavor this week that will probably find a nice hiding spot in the 4Runner for road trips.

I can't wait to get my hands on it. I was supposed to pick it up yesterday and had to go out of town on business on short notice.
I have never even shot one. I was in the store to buy a PS90, and this was sitting on the shelf behind it. I asked to take a look at it and started yakking with the sales guy about it and ended up putting off the PS90. Ammo and magazine interchangeability was probably the biggest factor for me. The fact that it will work pretty well left handed doesn't hurt either.
I'm going to a friend's place in the mountains where I grew up for Labor Day, so that's when I'll dial it in. :ak472:

When I got to fire one, we was out shooting our AR's and pistols, the couple near us had a couple pistols, and the Tavor, me being me, lol went over and starting talking with them, after about 20 minutes, he offered to left us try it, I fell in LOVE, it just felt "right" I told him Id trade my new AR, my Glock 19 Gen 4 (thats what I had at the time) and all the ammo I had for them ( jokingly) he said, sure thing and a few hundred dollars lol... By this time he told us how much they cost lol.. very cool guy.

Hello folks, I live in CT I've had my permit since 2003 before things went south and we got hit with the 10rd magazine capacity.
A lot of the firearms I used to own I no longer can buy without getting low caps mags.
I'm actually looking for a firearm in the near future (was thinking of getting a G23 4th gen capacity only goes from 13rds to 10rds)...What are you folks in similar states buying/ carrying???
