Thinking about getting a pair of shields for my wife and I for EDC. They have there performance center for $519 I think. Ported barrel and slide upgrades seer and something else[emoji37]. Almost seems like to good to be true.

depends on the situation, I have a M&P shield in 9mm that is my normal CCW piece. I will Open carry a Full-size M&P in .45 or an HK VP-9 in 9mm, depending on my mood and what the occasion is.

as far as long arms go, my .300 Blackout suppressed is my current favorite....

Form 1 Titanium SDTactical can in .30 cal.

Form 1 Colt le6920 lower with Geissele SD-E trigger group.
PSA 8.5" stainless upper in .300 BO, Spikes hpt/MPI BCG.

I absolutely love the thing. My 5.56 rifle has gotten jealous.

I am looking for a suppressor for my Larue tOBR 7.62.

I was originally going to get a surefire socom for it as they perform very well with Larue barrels but they are out of stock with no signs of being available in the near future. I am planning on calling Larue today to see what their lead time is for a tranquiolo but as with most Larue products it will probably be long. So I am looking at other options.

A somewhat local gun shop has Deadair cans available but I can't find any info on them being run on gas guns.

What are you thoughts and experiences with gas gun cans. Things that are important to me is DB reduction as I will load and shoot sub sonic loads from it. Little to no POI shift with or with out the can. And reliability.

I run a specwar on my AR 308 both subs and supers. reliability is really dependent on the AR and not the can.

Since the tOBR has a two position GB, you should be fine. As far as subs in a AR308, you'll have to mess around with different powders if the goal is to cycle the bolt. I was able to get 175gr SMK subsonic with Trailboss but it won't cycle which gets annoying after a while.

As far as minimal POI shift, you'll really be looking at lighter cans. i'm close to .6 mil difference with my can on a 16" medium contour barrel at 100. Deadair cans will work just like most higher end cans. db's are fine but the tone is much more important.

I was in Sammamish. Just moved south to mount rainier area. I al looking at a Larue can. They are backordered 4-6 months but right now it's also a 9-14 month delay on the stamp. So does an extra 4-6 months really matter. [emoji35]

Winter I carry a Kahr CW40 with a +1 magazine

My EDC varies depending on the day. During work hours, I keep a gen3 G19 in an appendix carry holster and spare mag near by. Once I leave office, I'll wear it for ride home, grocery store, etc.

When I'm away from the office, most of the time I'll just carry a Gen4 G26 in a hybrid holster and spare G19 Mag in my pocket. Now that we're going into winter I'll probably carry the G19 more.

Body Guard

So I normally carry my Ruger SR9c with Crimson Trace everywhere I go, but I've been looking for a smaller pocket carry option. A friend of mine was selling a S&W 380 Bodyguard with built in laser so I snatched it up to use as a backup pocket carry option, and to have a smaller carry option when needed. It's a nice little pistol, I'm already looking at upgrades for it

I picked up one a while back. I like it it a lot for summertime naked pocket carry. I feel safe carrying it without a trigger guard with one racked. It has a safety that is very easy to locate and I pdisengage when needed. What made me hold back on it is the long trigger pull (2nd safety feature). I could understand that if it didn't have a primary safety, but it does, so IMO it isn't needed.

I saw a video on you tube where someone is selling a trigger and spring mod that improves on the trigger pull and feed. I was thinking of upgrading mine to see if I like the improvements.

I've put a lot of rounds down range and have never had a mishap with mine.

Glad to hear it has been good for you. The trigger pull is my main issue and I plan to replace the trigger and trigger bar with the replacement set. I will let you know how I like them.
