Just ordered a S3F barrel (blem), Mjolnir trigger, and beavertail thingy for my G19... maybe that will make it EDC worthy.

Glad to hear it has been good for you. The trigger pull is my main issue and I plan to replace the trigger and trigger bar with the replacement set. I will let you know how I like them.

Magguts.com has magazine inserts for an extra round! I like my BG as well! Bought one of the first ones outs. Couple days after release.

Glock 19 at about 4:00, G17 mag as a reload, sometimes. Carry OWB in kydex and IWB in a Comptac Mtac. Almost always with a small pocket folder. My truck always has a space G17 mag, boo boo kit for the kids and a blowout kit for, just in case.

I was kicking around building a bag, but I think realistically a CAT (have 2 in the console, one on my bike), some combat guaze, a cravat and an NPA and I'll call it good there. Anything beyond that I'll let the EMT deal with.

Thats pretty much what I have in my kit, CAT, combat gauze, Israeli bandage, some chest seals, couple packs of 4x4 gauze, shears and a marker.. All in a molle backed tearaway bag. Lives in the back of the truck, and maked with a big red cross.

I had my EMT cert many years ago but never worked in the field so I wouldnt want to play with airway stuff but I think its good to have it in a kit. It maybe within someone else's scope.

Everyone that goes in country now has to know how to establish a NPA. Practicing is fun. Wait till your buddy foregoes the lube and just spits on it before jamming it in your face. Good times. I'm CLS qualified (plug leaks, stabilize for the medics to get there), but I've been thinking about going for my EMT-Basic. I dunno if it'd do a lot of good though.

Thought you guys might enjoy this. For you like me that let's say can't display your firearm during your work day but are in a profession that work right along side the ones that do all shift and wear 5:11 work pants check out the 5:11 tdu rip stop pants. They come with both cargo pockets already sewn with hide away two AR mag pockets inside. I remove the stitch and nestle my xds right inside. I like to sew a line below spare mag and below grip so pistol can't move or slide around and I line up the slide with center line of pants where it feels good to Me have to adjust to your own liking. Most people don't event know what a Hi-Power is, FM is the poor mans version but they do just fine.

Mine was a standard M95 w/ Hogue grip, I bought the Detective (1" shorter) and a longer 'target' (1" longer) slide barrel kits back about 2002 or so.

The Detective version is my favorite and for whatever strange reason it seems to be the most accurate of the 3.

Glock 26 FDE Gen 4. Recently switched from a Shield and have found the 26 to be easier to carry even though it's thicker. Both have been great guns though and can't go wrong with either!
