My favorite 1911 is a 4" bull barrel on an Officer frame, or a CCO--which is sort of the same thing. I have quite a few from LB, EB, WC, GI, SACS, and NHC. I like the WC and SACS best.

My new addition to my EDC/off-duty carry... Sig Sauer P365!
I haven't checked the thread to see if anyone else has been "blessed" to get one yet (they are somewhat hard-to-find, but it's getting better). I did purchase a 12-round magazine for it, and plan on purchasing another. To top it off, I even won a free kydex holster via a P365-dedicated Facebook group!
Round count is at 350 -- absolutely flawless (no failures of any kind).
I can HIGHLY recommend it!

1st I just want to say the blue 5th gen with subtle mods like yours give me hope!
Also back on topic :rofl: just picked up a new Springfield A XDS-9 in tactical grey. Great thing now is that S.A. Is running a special until the end of next month. Purchase a new one of their firearms and they will ship you 3 different magazines for your gun. Another nice added bonus if you ask me. Also I have been carrying a beretta 92FS for the past 5 years so this is a HUGE change up, and by huge I mean to not have to CC or carry a full size is great!

Love my xds ! I’ve got the 45 mainly cause I have a 1911 and decided to consolidate years ago to .45 .556&12gauge keep it easy to hoard lol. Today was out and about and just thought it was a good day to switch it up to the 1911. Is it just me but anyone every find themselves getting home taking off your hand cannon and catch yourself telling her how purty she is[emoji13] stay safe out there
Oh if you haven’t tried out the talon grips check them out I had the sandpaper ones for couple years and switched to the rubber much easier on the side

Just picked up a Sig p365. I know I know, I've read all of the so called "problem reviews" with striker drag and failure to eject but so far it has been fantastic.
