Well it's been a great day today....
Got stuff on the way as stated above and picked up these little goodies from my local Toy Dealer for my 6112's ....... :reddance:
Hey what did I miss regarding this upper assembly equipment from toyota? I'm looking at this very same kit once I'm ready.
......
OEM: 4) 90948-01100 Shock Cushions, 2) 90948-02205 Lower Cushion Retainers, 2) 90948-A2003 Upper Cushion Retainers
Non OEM: 2) Monroe 907922 strut mount stud plate (comes with flange nuts) 1) Energy coil spring isolators 9.6104 (two in a pack) $125 or close for these items
I guess that is what I get for buying new top plates that are non oem. The top plates I ordered only came with the flange nuts. So, the washers, bushings and isolators had to be ordered separately. The diagram made me think there was only one bushing on top.
So I continue to search but I haven't seen an answer.
Has anyone gone from 5100 to the 6112's in a SR5? I want to know if the 6112 set up eliminates more of the brake dive and if it is worth it to upgrade again.
If you decide not to reuse your old equipment.
this is what you will need if you combine oem & non oem items.
ALL OEM:
90948A2003 (need 2)
9094802205 (need 2)
4860960100 (need 2)
9008017215 (need 6)
9094801100 (need 2)
I've prices for all OEM parts vary from $165 to $265.
Bought this 2015 Trail new about a month ago. Have done a few mods so far. Just installed Bilstein 6112 yesterday. Getting an alignment tomorrow. 3 setting from bottom. Waiting on my Bilstein 5160 and then I will just run rear stock springs with AirLift bags
Initial setup as of May 2015:
6112s on 2nd circlip, and 5160s with stock coils in rear

Updated setup as of December 2015:
6112s on 4th circlip, and 5160s with SAW 1.5 coils in the rear
<Pics to come later> but as a teaser as youve seen here before it looks GOOD.
*tires did not change over this time. I do have aftermarket Camburg MOOG BJ UCAs on the front, a souther style speed slimline hybrid bumper, and shrockworks sliders now as of the December picture which i did NOT have as of the May picture.
Posting another reference. This has been posted on another thread, sorry if you have seen it before.
2013 4Runner Limited w/ 3rd row - 6112 on 3rd clip (2"); 5160s with SAW 1.5" coil in the rear. BFG 275/70/17 shoes on TE rims.
I wanted a little bit of the factory rake as I sometimes have my dirt bike hitched on the back. Lovin the feel so far on the road. Planning on testing offroad over the holiday break.

Looking forward to seeing the updated setup!
How does this ride compared to the factory areas?
I'm thinking about this exact setup for our 2014 Limited and wondering how it compares - softer or firmer or not much difference?
