When will the Bilstein 6112 be released?

All I know is, mine has been in place and its a mod that will keep out unwanted debris/water/mud/dirt/salt....etc.

I'm using those seals thanks to Saker. They fit perfectly. Also sprayed all shocks with Mavcoat. Hoping it'll prevent rust this coming winter. Even if it slows it down, it's worth it.

I spent the last 48 hrs reading the entire thread. As a Newbie to lift kits, I wanted to thank everyone for providing their insight and experience about this set up. It's much appreciated.

With that said, I'm jumping on the bandwagon. I'm going with the 6112/5160 set up. Pics to come.

We should have the new 6112 in stock in 2-3 weeks. We are stocked up on the current model and there is no performance difference other than the extra height settings for those who dont want to wait

So I have this combo waiting to be installed, but I'm still a bit lost on what rear spring to go with.

Is there a big reason that people don't use the stock spring? Can the 2" lift even be accomplished without changing the rear spring?

I live in California and mostly my 4Runner is for daily grind duty with some extra curricular activities.

Desired Height:
-Looking for 2" all around factory rake is fine with me.
-Will likely be running 275's as I don't want to hassle with rubbing. (Been there done that)

Add Ons:
-Rear Spring?? Necessary to achieve 2" lift?
-Extended bump stops for rear?? Necessary to not bottom out rear shocks?
-Bearing Buddy Caps
-Inflatable airbag within the rear spring for leveling during towing


Use Case:
-Mostly On Pavement
-Some Rutted Gravel
-Some Tahoe Snow Trips
-Towing of Trailor/RaceCar

Weight Adders:
-I have rock sliders that weigh about 150 lbs. in total
-Including weight of 3rd row seat I generally have about 50lbs of stuff in the trunk.

You will need spacers if you don't want to go the springs route. Otherwise I think the SAW (Wheeler's) is your best bet for your use giving your 3rd row and 50lbs weight and 2" up front

I have the 6112's set on the 4th notch, 5160's in the rear with Icon 2" springs. There is about a 2.25" rake in the vehicle now...

I have the 6112/5160 with T12s and got +2-2.25" lift at rear end.. no 3rd row, and not much weight in the back. you don't need to extend any bumpstops if you got the the 0-2" 5160s and not the taller ones

Hmmm are there different versions of the 5160?

I got them a few months back from TotalAutomotive. Do you have any part numbers to reference?

Have to dig back through the thread to see which notch I have to set the front to and which notch I need to set the back to to get around 2" with stock like rake.
