Where can I buy the AC relay for 2003?...For CHEAP

My AC Light is blinking. I want to do trial and error by replacing the relay before I'll let the dealer diagnose the problem.

Since many of 4th gen owners have already encountered the A/C Blinking problem and successful by just replacing the relay

I want to buy online if someone here know a cheaper site?

It will cost $60 at Toyota seems expensive for trial and error diagnostic.

Parts No. 90987-02022 or 90987-02028.

I'll be ordering one before it hits 100 degrees here.

The relay is not totally dead because I removed it yesterday and put it back this morning..then the AC functioned just fine. Until my wife called me the AC indicator light blinked again after leaving it in the parking lot for an hour.

Some members have mentioned you can remove the relay and bang it around a couple times and it'll work for a while.

But the blinking light will still come back.

I got the relay from RockAuto Auto Parts for $10 plus $3 shipping. Just search using OEM part numbers(above) and it will give you an equivalent part.

Before, I got a qoute from Toyota for $125 or if I'll just buy the relay, it cost $60. Ebay is also cheap but most of them are used.

I didn't install it immediately because the old relay is not yet completely dead :biggrin2: until today it blinks again and no cold air !!
so I just replace it with the new one, and so it function as expected..now its chilling.. J/K :thumb3:

so, instead of going to Toyota and pay $100-$200, try replacing the relay first and while you are waiting for it to ship, bang the old relay and reinstall it back see if it wake up - but its only temporary, the problem will comeback(like mine), just in time you already have a replacement in hand.

Nothing against RockAuto, but there's no need to wait for shipping. Your local autoparts stores like Autozone or Advance carry it for $15ish.
