Where is the reverse lamp harness located on 4th gen?

I picked mine up in the harness that runs along the drivers side seat. Just pull out the front kick panel and the sill guard and you will see the harness running in the channel. If I remember correctly it is a yellow and white wire.
I presume you are looking to connect this to activate the screen when you put the truck in reverse.

Really appreciate the response. Yes, I am looking to splice right into the reverse lamp wire that will automatically trigger the camera on the screen every time I place the transmision in reverse.
I would appreciate any additional info you have to add.. Did you splice into the wire that is in the channel or behind the kick plate?

Hey Joe. I tapped into the reverse wire for the headunit at J33, which is over by the engine control module. I actually ran accessory power to the camera so I can switch to it whenever I want - not just when in reverse.
The wire going to J33 comes off of the park/neutral position switch, to J33, then on to a junction connector (J40), then to each back-up lamp. J40 is in back just forward of the bottlejack (under the trim). Here's a a pic of J33:

So, are there multiple locations one can tap into the reverse lamp wire? Sounds like it.
AV/1 ~ do you remember what color is J33 is, because that is the one I would be tapping into?? And by running accessory power, you mean you just hooked up the red wire to an Ign controlled power right?

Well, the the pic in my post above (upper right) is of J33 and shows it's actually white in my 2003, but may be different in the different years (doubtful but possible). I would look for the red wires w/ yellow trace (there will be several) and check with a meter when you put it in reverse. Again, there will be several and they all will get power in reverse so it really doesn't matter which one you tap.
Yes, I connected my camera to a power source which gets power when the ignition is set to acc through on. I looked at the power circuit diagrams and found one to use. Unfortunately, I don't remember which one I used now

What size gauge wire is the reverse wire in the J33 harness? I'm trying to figure out the size tap I need to use. Any recommendations?
