White Sands/Ruidosa Visit

My wife and 7 year old are heading out next weekend to visit White Sands and Ruidosa area. We plan on doing some sledding 7/27, but don't really have much else planned for the 27th or 28th. We will probably do some hiking.

Are members out there from that area? Any good trails for no well armored T4R (mild trails that won't scare the wifey)? Anyone want to meet up and show us around?

Sorry man, the NM section is dead it seems. I don't really know that area to well so I'm no help there other than I know white sands will be hot so take plenty of water. Super easy to get dehydrated out there but it's a pretty cool place. If you ever come up to NW NM I'd be happy to show you around.

Thanks for the offer GM. I am sure we will make it up that way again. We made it up to Taos for Xmas last year.
