Yeah, sure, you could say that, but I really like how yours has transformed - especially since we both have (different shades) of white... I like the white and black theme - looks good.
My valve cover gaskets are leaking too. We should get together and replace both of them... Oh, and my fog light switch light stays on too... I think it has to do with it being wired directly to the battery - I unplug my switch so the light doesn't stay on, when I park the rig for a while. The switch dangles out of the dash, but oh well. I have plans to get it fixed soon. Hopefully.

So I got the lights working last night with the exception that one of the wires came loss from the back of the switch. I go to recrimp the connector only to have it start shorting out. WTH!
I have it wired that same way I did it on my old green and didn't have this problem. Grr!

Every toyota I have owned has lost paint on on the hood lonnnnnng before anywhere else, and my theory is that since the hood insulation was gone the heat from the engine compartment did its work on the paint. That being said, I'd say that was a good move.

Something doesn't look quite right here:

You know that saying measure twice cut once. Well, in this case it was measure 4x's (paranoid) install once and still apparently, I can't read a tape measure.
Measured from the center of the spindle to the center of the bolt hole and everything looked fine. Once I got the carrier on (a chore in itself) the holes don't line up. On top of that the holes for the hub cover don't even line up.:boom:
A little frustrated at the moment to say the least. Gonna get a hold of CBI first Monday and see what can be done.

Finally, got the tire carrier mounted up last night, just need to fix the license plate light wiring (bad ground).
One of the guys at work enlarged the hole for the latch handle as well as doing a little grinding on the holes for the spindle cover to get the bolts holes to line up properly. So far I haven't noticed any rattles. I still need to put some lug nuts on the spare as well as the chain (thanks to bigfishallday for the idea).
I still need to change out to proper size and pick up another Baja Tacoma rim but that will have to wait for a bit.

Subscribed! Last tire carrier I had made so much noise I had to take it off. That was a long time ago on a whole different vehicle.

PVC was replaced a couple of months ago. It would do this even before it was replaced.
